JAY-JAY POV
I woke up to screaming.
Again.
At this point I genuinely believed Section E physically could not exist peacefully.
I sat up slowly in my room, still half asleep, when another loud yell echoed through the condo.
"THAT'S MY PANCAKE."
"FINDERS KEEPERS."
"FELIX I WILL END YOU."
I closed my eyes.
Wonderful.
Morning chaos.
I changed into an oversized black shirt and loose gray sweatpants before walking out of my room.
The second I entered the kitchen—
silence hit.
Too much silence.
I blinked slowly.
"…Why are you all staring at me?"
Cin pointed aggressively.
"You wake up pretty. It's suspicious."
"Go away."
Rory looked offended.
"She didn't even deny it."
The giant kitchen was already full.
Section E everywhere.
Robin sitting on the counter eating cereal directly from the box.
Cyrus drinking coffee quietly.
Adrian helping Luka make pancakes.
And somehow—
that scene alone made my chest feel strangely warm.
Because Adrian always cooked with Luka patiently.
Always.
Like no matter how dangerous life became—
he still made time for small things.
Then Luka suddenly noticed me.
"ATE JAY-JAY!"
Before I could react, the child ran toward me and hugged my waist dramatically.
"You abandoned me yesterday."
"I slept."
"That sounds fake."
"You're ten."
"And correct."
Robin started laughing immediately.
"She found her clone."
"I hate both of you."
Keifer walked into the kitchen right then.
Messy hair.
Black shirt.
Half asleep expression.
And unfortunately—
everyone noticed the timing instantly.
Cin gasped dramatically.
"Oh my God the main characters arrived together."
"We literally did not," I replied immediately.
Keifer looked at me once.
Then at Luka still hugging me.
Then at Adrian standing nearby.
And somehow—
his mood visibly dropped again.
Robin noticed instantly.
Interesting.
Very interesting.
Adrian stayed calm while flipping another pancake.
"You want breakfast?" he asked me softly.
I answered automatically.
"Yes."
Then paused.
Because suddenly everyone in the kitchen was staring at me again.
Cin slowly turned toward Adrian.
"…She said yes immediately."
Rory looked horrified.
"She listens to him too naturally."
"I can still threaten all of you," I reminded them.
Nobody cared.
Luka proudly pulled me toward the table.
"Ate sit beside Kuya Adrian."
And somehow—
that sentence made the entire kitchen freeze.
Especially Keifer.
I noticed immediately.
Unfortunately.
Adrian looked completely unbothered.
"Luka," he said calmly. "Stop causing problems before breakfast."
"But I like problems."
"That explains a lot," Yuri muttered while entering the kitchen.
A maid placed plates onto the table while everyone slowly sat down.
And somehow…
without planning it—
I ended up between Adrian and Keifer.
Worst situation possible.
Robin noticed immediately and almost choked laughing.
Cyrus looked deeply tired already.
Cin whispered dramatically to Rory,
"This is cinema."
"THIS is torture," Yuri corrected.
I ignored everyone and started eating peacefully.
For approximately ten seconds.
Then Luka suddenly looked at Keifer curiously.
"You're the boy who likes Ate Jay-Jay, right?"
I almost inhaled water and died.
Cin fell off her chair screaming.
Felix slapped the table violently.
Blaster started coughing laughing.
Even Robin looked impressed.
"This child fears NOTHING."
Keifer stayed surprisingly calm.
Which honestly made things worse.
He looked directly at Luka and asked:
"What makes you think that?"
Luka answered immediately.
"You stare at her like Kuya Adrian does."
Silence.
Complete silence.
Nobody moved.
Nobody breathed.
And slowly—
everyone looked at Adrian.
Who had stopped moving too.
For the first time since meeting Section E…
Adrian actually looked caught off guard.
Meanwhile my soul was leaving my body peacefully.
I pointed at Luka weakly.
"You're grounded."
"I'm telling the truth."
"That's the problem."
Then I accidentally looked at Keifer.
Huge mistake.
Because he was already looking at me.
Not teasing.
Not smirking.
Just watching me quietly.
And somehow…
that made my heartbeat feel annoyingly unstable.
Which was even worse.
Because Adrian noticed that too.
And judging by the slight look in his eyes—
nothing about this trip was staying simple anymore.
