JAY-JAY POV
The condo was finally peaceful.
For exactly six minutes.
A new record.
I was sitting on the couch scrolling through my phone while Adrian, Cyrus, and Robin argued over some old movie scene.
Luka was building a dinosaur out of pillows.
Section E was scattered around the living room.
Everything was calm.
Then Drew stood up.
That was the first warning sign.
"I have an idea."
Everyone immediately groaned.
"No," Yuri said.
"We don't even know the idea yet."
"No."
"I agree with Yuri," I added.
Drew ignored all of us.
"What if we have a competition?"
Silence.
Then Robin grinned.
"Oh no."
Cin immediately sat up.
"WAIT."
Felix pointed dramatically.
"I support bad decisions."
Of course he did.
Drew looked proud.
"Section E versus Jay-Jay's old group."
The entire room froze.
Then exploded.
"YES!"
"NO!"
"ABSOLUTELY."
"I HATE THIS."
Chaos.
Pure chaos.
Then Rory jumped onto the couch dramatically.
"What kind of competition?"
Drew pointed at Adrian, Robin, Cyrus, and me.
"You guys were dancers, singers, actors, right?"
Robin immediately looked suspicious.
"...Yes."
A dangerous smile appeared on Drew's face.
"Oh, this is gonna be good."
ONE HOUR LATER
I hated everything.
Because somehow—
the living room had been transformed into a competition arena.
Luka was the official judge.
Worst decision ever.
A handmade sign now hung on the wall.
SECTION E VS THE LEGENDS
I wanted to disappear.
Immediately.
Cin stood proudly.
"First challenge!"
Yuri already looked exhausted.
"What challenge?"
Cin grinned.
"Dance battle."
The room exploded.
Robin stood up dramatically.
"Oh we're winning."
"Confidence is dangerous," David replied.
"Talent is forever."
Then Adrian stood up quietly.
And somehow that was worse.
Because apparently Adrian dancing was a national event.
Even Cyrus looked amused.
The music started.
And suddenly—
Adrian moved.
Silence.
Complete silence.
Because he was ridiculously good.
Smooth.
Effortless.
Like he'd never stopped performing.
Cin grabbed Rory violently.
"HE'S INSANE."
Rory looked emotional.
"I understand the fan edits now."
Then Robin joined.
And somehow made it worse.
Because Robin danced like he wanted attention from every person in the room.
Which unfortunately worked.
Then Cyrus.
Then me.
The room was screaming.
Luka nearly fell off the couch cheering.
And when the music ended—
Section E looked traumatized.
Felix pointed at me.
"...You hid this."
"I hide many things."
"THAT'S THE PROBLEM."
Then Blaster stood up dramatically.
"OUR TURN."
This was going to be a disaster.
Twenty minutes later—
it became the funniest thing I'd ever seen.
Because Section E wasn't professional.
But they were chaotic.
And somehow that made it entertaining.
Drew forgot half the moves.
Cin invented new ones.
Felix nearly crashed into a lamp.
Rory turned everything into a performance.
Even Yuri accidentally laughed.
The entire condo was losing their minds.
Then Luka stood on the couch dramatically.
"I DECLARE A TIE."
Everyone immediately protested.
"WHAT?!"
"NO."
"WE WON."
"YOU CHEATED."
Luka crossed his arms.
"My decision is final."
"You're ten."
"And powerful."
Fair.
Then Robin suddenly smirked.
Dangerous.
Very dangerous.
"Oh."
I knew that look.
"What?"
Robin pointed at me.
"Final challenge."
"No."
"Jay-Jay."
"No."
"Jay-Jay."
"Robin."
Everyone looked interested now.
Which was bad.
Very bad.
Robin grinned wider.
"Truth or Dare."
The entire condo exploded.
And somehow—
the smile on Keifer's face told me this was about to become the worst night of my life.
