" First tell us who was your first kiss" Ci-N asked making the whole condo going crazy
" Hmm actually it was by a mistake my first kiss was.... Adrian" I said
" WHAT" Calix gasped
" You guys are best friends " Drew SAID
" Guys come on it was by mistake I slip "
" Ok next one" Cyrus said
" You have to kiss keifer for ten minutes" said Rory making me freeze
What keifer and I are not even in good terms
Are you guys insane?!" I scrambled backward. I was supposed to be angry at Keifer right now. We were not on good terms!
But before I could even open my mouth to protest, Keifer moved.
THE TEN-MINUTE TIMER
He slid forward effortlessly, closing the distance between us until he was kneeling right in front of me. Up close, he smelled like winter air and faint cedar cologne.
"Ten minutes is a long time, Jay-Jay," he murmured, his dark eyes scanning my face.
"I am mad at you," I hissed, glaring at him. "Don't you dare—"
"Timer starts... now!" Drew shouted.
Keifer didn't give me a chance to finish. He leaned in, and his lips met mine.
The room exploded into chaos. Ci-N and Felix were cheering, while Yuri and David instantly looked away, looking completely miserable and jealous. Cyrus shifted uncomfortably, and Adrian just sighed, covering Luka's eyes.
I wanted to push Keifer away. I wanted to stay mad at him. But the second his hand found my waist, pulling me firmly against him, my brain completely short-circuited. The initial shock melted away, replaced by a sudden, dizzying wave of heat.
Time became completely meaningless. Keifer was deeply in love with me, and it showed in the way he held me—like he was never going to let me go. Every time I tried to catch my breath, his grip would tighten, his lips sliding over mine with an intensity that made my knees weak.
BEEP. BEEP. BEEP.
Drew's phone loudly blared across the room, signaling the end of the ten minutes.
"Alright! Time's up!" Drew shouted, clapping his hands. "Break it up, lovebirds!"
BEYOND THE LIMIT
Except... Keifer didn't move.
The timer stopped, but he didn't. His hand stayed firmly locked on my jaw, his fingers tangled in my hair, keeping me anchored to him. The kiss didn't break. He completely ignored the alarm.
"Uh... Keifer?" Robin called out, his smug expression faltering into confusion. "The timer went off, man. You won."
"Hey, bro, game's over," Edrix added, exchanging a look with Eren and Mayo.
I tried to pull back, planting my hands against his chest to push him away, but Keifer's grip on my waist only tightened. He pressed forward, completely dominating my space, refusing to let me go. He didn't care about the game. He didn't care about the timer. He only cared about me.
The living room fell into a stunned, awkward silence. Kit, Blaster, Denzel, Eman, and Josh all stared with wide eyes.
"Oh," Luka said loudly. "They're still going."
"Luka, look at the wall," Adrian commanded smoothly, turning the ten-year-old's head away.
Yuri stood up abruptly, looking too upset to watch anymore, and walked toward the kitchen. David looked equally crushed.
"Okay, yeah, we are definitely exiting," Drew said, quickly ushering the rest of the shocked boys out of the room. "Let's go inspect the fridge. Everybody out."
The heavy click of the kitchen door closing shut echoed, leaving us completely alone.
Finally, Keifer slowly, deliberately broke the kiss. His forehead rested against mine, both of us breathing heavily. His eyes opened, dark and practically burning as he looked down at me.
Even though my heart was racing, my anger came rushing back. I shoved his chest hard. "The timer ran out, Keifer! What is wrong with you?!"
Keifer didn't even flinch. A slow, devastating smirk gradually returned to his face, his thumb softly brushing over my flushed cheek.
"I don't care about the timer, Jay-Jay," he murmured, his voice low and completely serious. "And I don't care about the game."
