Yumi's POV
I ran at my full speed towards the house. Frantically opened the door with the spare keys which i carry.
Uncle is nowhere... Must be out again after another fight with aunt. I quietly stepped in, slipping off my shoes and neatly setting them on the rack.
As i took another step in, i froze when saw aunt crying on the Dining table at the far end of it. She looked up at me and clenched her jaw. Her eyes blood shot.
"Everything happens because of you!"
She yelled through gritted teeths and threw the nearest broken plate towards me. I couldn't raise my arms up in time to protect myself and the piece of late scratched down my cheek... Leaving a trail of blood.
i stood frozen... Blood dripping down my cheek and to the floor.
"GET LOST!"
she screamed and i ran upstairs to my room without wasting a second. Tears streaming down my face, mixing with the blood as i looked at my reflection in the mirror
"b-but i...didn't even... Do anything..."
I sobbed, splashing water on me face... It stings. I don't even have a first aid box... I sat on the floor... Crying in my hands, pressing an old dress of mine to my cheek in an attempt to stop the bleeding.
But the most that dress soaked were my tears instead of blood.
