Chapter 2 - 1. First summoning

The sun was shining overhead on an island out to sea. It was comfortable, not searing like the 105 degree heat. On the island sitting in the shade of a palm tree with coconut fruit, was Blake Michaelson. He was wasting his time in the sun, and in his mind was the same thought he had for the last five days.

'How am I going to get off the island?' he thought to himself as he thought to his first and only attempt and how it ended. He was able to assemble a crude raft which should have held till he reached mainland if there was one. However, the beings under the sea had a different idea.

Before he could get even an hour out, a beast knocked him off his raft and was about to eat him until he knocked it out. He was surprised at his own strength and felt some strange power circulate through his body as if it was strengthening his own existence. He made it back to land, and with him was the huge monster he decided was dinner.

Back to the present, he tore a piece of monster jerky from his hand and savored the taste, well what might resemble taste. He was able to extract salt, but that's all he could get and it was tiring after five days of jerky and coconut.

'Man, It sure is boring around her without a friend' he thought to himself as he just hoped something would appear to alleviate his lonely boredom.

It was then that something shifted in him as a flow of information entered his mind, like an overflow of data that was close to frying his brain despite how conditioned he was. It was then his power activated, his gift from heaven. It was then that an orb of light manifested next to him and it began to change shape.

It soon began to enlarge itself before it was squished down to a smaller size. Blake looked on with his mouth wide open, his jaw hitting the floor in astonishment as it finished appearing as a small being hit the sand. It was a dragon, that much was obvious and its aura was quite huge and crushing yet I withstood it just fine.

It was crimson red with golden spikes near its elbows, legs, and its claws. Its maw was filled with sharp white teeth and a serpents tongue and wide wings. It was quite cute.

"Huh, where am I?!" the dragon spoke in confusion as Blake was still full of astonishment but seeing an angel in person seemed to raise the bar for surprise. "Hello" Blake said as the frantic dragon turned its head towards the man infront of him.

"Who are you?!" it screamed as it tried to summon a torrent of its soul burning flames, but something stopped it. The attack was seemingly cancelled as if he had no right to attack the man in front of him.

"Heyheyhey, lets not resort to fire okay?!" screamed Blake as he saw the fire come towards him but fizzle out. The reason seemed to flash by in his head. 'Those that you summon cannot effect you negatively, a small safety measure.'

It was quite strange for the flames of a dragon to just stop, and the dragon itself was in a state of pure confusion. "How?" the dragon muttered to himself as he was wondering about the phenomenon and then he seemingly just remembered the human infront of him.

"Human, who are you? A mere human like you shouldn't have been able to summon me" he growled out as he readied his claws but Blake wasn't too worried. "My name is Blake Michaelson and I am a human transmigration" he said to him. "Blake, how did you summon me?" the dragon asked as he seemed to calm down. "Well, you see I have this ability" Blake began to explain to the dragon as he also remembered the dragon didn't introduce himself.

"Hey dragon, what's your name?" asked Blake and the dragon seemed to puff up with his question. "You wish to learn my name? I am the Red Dragon Emperor, I am a heavenly dragon who is the rival of the White Dragon Emperor Albion. I am Y Ddraig Goch!" he shouted to the world. his voice was full of confidence in his words, and a tinge of arrogance which made sense considering his draconic nature.

"Oh, like the one from the legend of king Arthur?" asked Blake as Ddraig nodded while deflating as he expected this mortal to know and prostrate before his name. "As you know my name, please address me as such. Now, where are we?" asked Ddraig as he landed down and seemed to take a piece of jerky offered to him by Blake.

"Well, were on an island in the middle of the sea, and were in another world too, so there's that" said Blake. "Why haven't you tried to leave yet?" asked Ddraig. "Oh no I tried, but it ended with a sea monster becoming jerky while my raft was torn to shreds" said Blake.

"couldn't you use magic?" asked Ddraig as Blake shrugged his shoulders. "Don't know, probably but I don't know how to" said Blake. Ddraig seemed to understand as a thought came into his head.

"Human, how about an offer. I help you by being a familiar of sorts, and you spread my name and glory. How about it?" asked Ddraig and Blake nodded without hesitation. What better way to get off this island while also being able to deal with the sea monsters in your way.

They shook hands as a binding light appeared, and their oath was set. "Well, now that we have a contract established, what is your first order?" asked Ddraig with a smile. Blake pointed to the sea and ordered, "Slay the monsters around this island!"

Ddraig smiled as he readied some of his soul-searing fire and the monsters in the sea for the first time, felt true fear.

A/N: A wild Ddraig appears!
