Aria's POV
"I'm working on facial recognition," Derek said, his voice serious. Then he paused, like he didn't know how to continue. "But Aria… this isn't the first time something like this has happened."
My stomach tightened. "What do you mean?"
"I've been researching," he said, turning his tablet so I could see. "There have been other cases. Other children who disappeared. Not just any children—children of alphas. And not just that… children with unusual traits."
I felt a chill run through my body. "What kind of traits?"
"Things that don't seem normal," Derek explained. "Enhanced strength. Stronger senses than usual. Some reports even mention abilities that shouldn't exist."
He tapped on the screen, scrolling through articles. "Six children in the last two years. All very young—newborn to three years old. All from powerful alpha families. And all of them disappeared without any trace."
My blood went cold. My mind immediately went to Luna.
