The world is a hellish, selfish world called Zythera. It is a mystical place placed inside a Nexus universe, a universe placed in centre of many realities.
It is a hard-core world, where people awaken their abilities in the form of halos, mystical rings which allow people to perform godly feats. The people awaken it at the ripe age of thirteen, during their Rite of emergence.
Most awaken it, some extremely unlucky ones do not, and hence remain powerless their entire lives.
These halos allow them to channel Halence, an energy found in the entire verse.
It is a supreme energy allowing people to raise their own existential rank by cultivating, absorbing, and refining. During the time of breaking through to the next rank, people undergo a joint or if lucky, an individual trial in the Xense Realm, a place which holds the pathway for them to advance to the next Realm.
The difference between each rank is exponential and is like an abyss-never ending. With each increase in rank, the number of rings present in the halo will increase, and its runes will get more complex, thereby unlocking new abilities of the same rank their former one was.

The halo ranks determine the quality of the halo itself, its ability to draw in halnece, refined it and consolidate it. It also determines the quality of runes present on the halo, which determine ability.

Note: These are only singular examples for each rank, and the affinities mentioned are not limited to their respective ranks. For example:- Minor Earth Affinity can also be a Supreme Earth Affinity, but it would be weaker than Supreme origin/chaos Affinity due to difference in rarity. But this does not mean each individual could have a supreme Affinity. Only thirty mentioned cases of supreme Affinity have been recorded ever in the history of Zythera.
There are gods for each Affinity present. Note: God's are beings who have reached the pinnacle of control over their Affinity. They Rae either the first to use it, or are extremely talented. They have extremely high cultivation, bordering Halence Omniform or Absolute.

[Note: These energies do not represent affinities at all. The concept of affinities and these energies will be explained in the novel, and the logic behind it. These energies have a certain law or axiom which they control.]
There exists the concept of dimensions and manifolds too, with varying ranks. But they will be explained in the novel.
There will be a multitude of species present, and a plethora of kingdoms. I know the verse maybe a bit complicated, but I will surely explain it slowly.
