Chapter 22 - Chapter 22: The Arrival of the Eraser’s Shadow

The 'System Shield' held, but at a cost. Amine fell to one knee, coughing. The ink points in his bar were nearly zero. Suddenly, the temperature in the cellar dropped to sub-zero. A shadow began to creep across the walls—a shadow that didn't belong to anyone in the room.

"So, the little 'Prophet' thinks he can edit my masterpiece?" A voice echoed, cold and metallic. It didn't come from the room; it felt like it was coming from inside Amine's head.

A figure emerged from the darkness. It was a man dressed in a suit made of 'Static'—like a broken TV screen. He held a giant eraser that dripped with black, corrosive liquid.

"I am the Senior Editor," the figure said, stepping into the light. "I work for the Origin Author. My job is to clean up 'errors' like you, Amine. You've introduced too many variables. Luffy was supposed to be a simple pirate, not a tool for a 'Scholar' from another world."

Zoro stepped forward, drawing all three swords. "I don't care who your boss is. If you're here to erase our path, I'll cut you first."

The Editor laughed. "Cut me? I am the one who defines what a sword is. If I say your swords are made of 'Paper'..."

He tapped his eraser on the floor. Instantly, Zoro's swords began to bend and soften, turning into literal sheets of paper.

"No!" Amine screamed. He forced himself up, his eyes glowing with a desperate light. "System! Overdrive! Convert my remaining 'Life Force' into 'Permanent Ink'!"

[Warning: This action is irreversible. Do you wish to proceed?]

Amine didn't wait. He began to draw a 'Reality Anchor' directly onto Zoro's paper blades, forcing them back into cold, hard steel. The clash between Amine's creation and the Editor's erasure sent a shockwave that leveled the entire building.
