"What does a dick taste like, Mikhail?"

In an open roof auditorium, hundreds of students were waiting for their Awakening ceremony when a question echoed in the silence.

Everyone turned to look at the boy with short blonde hair and eyes of the same shade.

The boy, as if oblivious of the death glares from everyone, looked at the boy who was walking towards him.

"I just came here, you moron." Mikhail spat in anger, taking the seat beside him. "Who the fuck starts a conversation like that?"

"You don't know?" Kevin frowned. "I thought you did."

"And why would you think that?"

"Because how come you get all A's in the test if you are not sucking teacher coc—."

"Can you shut up already."

Mikhail cut him off, his blue eyes turning towards the big screen hanging at the centre of the auditorium.

And once again he was first rank in his class.

'…I never thought I would see my name at the very top.'

Mikhail thought to himself with a small smile on his face.

It had been two years since he transmigrated into this world that oddly resembled Earth.

For the first few weeks he was in despair, but once he accepted his reality, Mikhail used this new life for the better.

He trained to get the lean muscular body he had always desired, worked hard in the academy, and now he was at the top.

'Though, it won't matter much if I don't Awaken a good class today.'

Awakening.

It was said that the god who created this world died five thousand years ago, and because of his death the reality destabilised.

Rifts and mana began to assimilate with the world and the world collapsed, sending humans back to the stone age.

Through those rifts, beings that were only mentioned in myths began to walk this world.

Humans and animals began to mutate along with viruses and bacteria, which led to the first zombie outbreak all those years ago.

As Mikhail was looking through the rankings, he finally found Kevin at the very bottom.

He turned towards Kevin, not hiding his astonishment. "You passed?"

"Why the fuck are you surprised?" Kevin grumbled softly. "I studied all the questions you marked."

'I genuinely thought you wouldn't do that either.'

Mikhail smiled and patted Kevin on his back. "Good job, Papa is proud of you."

"Fuck off." Kevin slapped his hand away.

Mikhail chuckled and leaned back on the uncomfortable seat.

He looked around, finding only a small portion of the auditorium full.

It was supposed to be completely full but because of the threats from the Red Crown Society it had been cancelled.

"Where is Professor Alan?" Mikhail couldn't help but ask.

He was already late for the event, and Mikhail was sure they would have already started by now.

"I don't know." Kevin replied with a grunt. "He must be getting freaky with Ms. Linda."

A ripple of chuckles echoed from around them, cutting through the tense atmosphere.

"Can you not degrade our teachers." A voice echoed from two rows down. "That's bad manners."

Mikhail looked at the girl with long black hair and an hourglass body, a pink blush on her face.

She was the class president and also the school beauty — Roseline Varada.

"Here she goes." Kevin grumbled, rubbing his face. "Mind your business, second place."

Roseline's lips twitched at his words and her eyes shifted towards Mikhail.

"Why do you even hang out with this toddler brain?" She asked. "I bet he wouldn't even get a decent class."

"He is not a toddler brain." Mikhail replied. "….Probably."

Kevin, who had been smiling, immediately glared at Mikhail. "Mother—."

"Aye, shhh. Professor Alan is here."

Someone from below said in a hushed voice.

Mikhail turned his gaze towards the stage at the centre of the auditorium.

A man in his late forties walked to the centre where a football-sized orb was already placed, attached to the screen.

Professor Alan was short but had a big moustache that made him look threatening from afar.

"I will not waste the students' time anymore!"

He said, his voice echoing throughout the entire auditorium, pointing at the orb.

"This is the Awakening Stone. Once you place your hand on it, the stone will send a string of mana from all classes and match you with the class you are most suitable for."

Before dying, the Creator God did one more thing to help his creations survive.

He made a class system from his dying body that helped humans fight back and reclaim their lands to create a new order.

Now, a new batch of Awakened Ones were going to be born today.

An unseen veil of fear and excitement draped over the Year 12 students as they held their breaths.

"I will call the names now. Come forward when called and remember, don't do anything stupid; the ceremony is being broadcast live."

After giving the warning, Professor Alan opened the file in his hand.

"Anseel Rone!"

The boy named Anseel walked towards the stage with a trembling body.

He drew in deep breaths before placing his hand on the stone.

After a few seconds of waiting, the orb finally shone and his class appeared on the screen.

"Citizen Class! Awakening Failed!"

Anseel froze in place and looked up at the screen with horror in his eyes.

"Walk back, Anseel."

The defeated boy moved only when Professor Alan addressed him firmly.

"Brandon Sanstan!"

The professor called the name once again and everyone's eyes shifted towards the young boy with snow white hair.

He was the son of the City of Sparrows representative in the court of the Aegon Kingdom. Many people had high hopes for him.

The boy walked towards the stage and gave a quick glance at Mikhail, whom he hated.

With a smile he placed his hand on the orb, and after a few seconds it shone once again.

"Marques Class!! Brandon is Warden of Marques Class!!"

A round of applause echoed within the auditorium, initiated by Professor Alan, who was happy for the bonus he would receive.

Brandon soaked in the applause and bowed slightly while still keeping an eye on Mikhail.

"Dude sure loves to show off." Kevin said from the side. "Fucking fake."

Mikhail nodded his head. "He is still pissed that I beat him in hand to hand combat last year."

Professor Alan began to call the names once again.

---

"Rina Roades!!"

"Citizen Class! Awakening Failed!!"

---

"Sane Khalifa!!"

"Countness Class!! Illusionist!!"

---

"Johnny Blue!!"

"Baron Class!! Stalker!!"

---

"Roseline Varada!!!"

"Countness Class!! The Enforcer!!"

---

"Kevin Ariala!!"

Kevin slapped his thighs and stood up. "Wish me luck."

Mikhail nodded his head as the blonde boy walked towards the stage.

With a deep breath, he placed his hand on the orb.

A few seconds passed and the orb shone as words appeared on the screen.

Professor Alan fell silent when he saw the name on the screen.

"K-King Class!!" Alan said at last. "Kevin is Monarch of King Class!!! The first King Class in our County in twenty years!!"

A round of applause broke out once again, initiated by Professor Alan.

Kevin turned around and looked for the camera, and when he found it…he smirked and showed his middle finger.

The boy walked back all smug and sat down beside Mikhail once again. "Looks like I am going to be a king."

"King of Toddlers, you mean." Mikhail rebuked, but he was more than happy for his friend.

"Mikhail Brightburn!!"

The young boy with short black hair stood up and walked towards the stage.

Despite his nervousness, Mikhail showed flawless confidence as he smiled towards Professor Alan.

"I have high hopes for you, boy." Alan said in a quiet voice.

Mikhail just nodded and with a long breath placed his hand on the orb.

The orb remained still for a second before it sent an electric current through his body.

With expectation in his eyes, Mikhail looked at the screen to see his class.

But….

Nothing came up. They waited for a whole minute but nothing showed up.

Confused, Mikhail turned to look at Professor Alan, who had the same look on his face.

"No class." Alan spoke in a dim voice. "Mikhail does not have any class. He failed the Awakening."

Mikhail's hand fell helplessly away from the orb.

"Please move back to your seat." Alan spoke in a comforting voice.

Mikhail nodded. "Alright."

But just as he turned around.

[Congratulations!]
