Part Two – (Final Act)
Chapter 1: The Curtain Never Closed
The applause from the final performance still echoed in everyone's minds.
To the audience, everything had gone perfectly.
But backstage… something felt wrong.
Lena stood alone near the dressing mirrors, staring at her reflection. The bright stage lights were off now, replaced by a dim yellow glow.
"It's over," she whispered.
But it didn't feel over.
Behind her, the curtain moved slightly.
She turned quickly.
No one.
Or at least… that's what it looked like.
A sudden chill ran down her spine.
Earlier that night, during the performance, she had seen something.
Not part of the script.
Not part of the act.
A shadow.
Standing in the wings.
Watching.
And now…
It felt like that same presence was still here.
