Chapter 165 - Improving Killer Move

"No wonder Gu Immortals actively raise populations," Lin Yan murmured to himself. There were indeed benefits to doing so.

Suddenly, Lin Yan spotted Shan Shayuan. A will descended from the sky and arrived at one of the resource points.

Beside Fire Ember Lake, Shan Shayuan was directing the Gu Masters under him to construct buildings and organize the surrounding area. When he saw Lin Yan's will appear in mid-air, he was slightly surprised.

Lin Yan smiled and took out a five-colored Aptitude Relic Gu. "Uncle, this Gu can improve aptitude. It can raise your aptitude to peak A-grade."

Shan Shayuan was stunned. Looking at the Gu worm before him, he hesitated for a moment before saying, "Isn't this too valuable?"

"It doesn't matter." Lin Yan shook his head with a smile. "Do you really think I would lack Mortal Gu after becoming Gu Immortal? Besides, I also hope your cultivation can advance further. If you can become a Gu Immortal in the future, you'll be able to help me."

Shan Shayuan looked at the vast world inside the Blessed Land and eventually accepted it without further refusal. He laughed and said, "Becoming a Gu Immortal isn't that easy."

Lin Yan smiled but did not continue the topic.

His gaze swept across the bustling resource point before he nodded slightly in satisfaction. The next moment, his will gradually dispersed and vanished into thin air.

With the Huang Family's development plans proceeding smoothly, Lin Yan temporarily set those matters aside and turned his attention back to his own cultivation.

He began reviewing his killer moves.

Most of them had been created during his time as a mortal Gu Master. Take Divine Fire Yama for example. Its core was Fire Control Immortal Gu, while the rest consisted of more than twenty Rank 5 Gu worms. Even so, it already possessed peak Rank 6 combat power.

After Immortal Ascension, the quality of his will had undergone a qualitative transformation. The number of Gu worms he could control simultaneously had increased dramatically, leaving Divine Fire Yama with enormous room for improvement.

Adding dozens or even hundreds of supplementary Gu worms was entirely feasible. Once completed, its power would likely rise to an entirely new level.

More importantly, Divine Fire Yama used only a single Immortal Gu as its core.

If multiple Immortal Gu could be integrated into the same immortal killer move, its power would undergo a qualitative transformation. By then, Divine Fire Yama's power might even reach the level of challenging Rank 7 Gu Immortals.

However, Dream Derivation Gu was still in the middle of its transformation and could not be used for the time being, making dream deductions impossible.

At the same time, Lin Yan discovered something important. The time flow of Dream Derivation Gu was linked to his main body, while the Blessed Land possessed its own independent time flow. The two did not stack together and were calculated separately.

In other words, he could not achieve the absurd effect of combining the two and turning one day in the outside world into eight hundred days of deductions within the dream realm.

Fortunately, his Flame Path attainment had already reached the Grandmaster level. His understanding of Flame Path had undergone a qualitative transformation, allowing him to instinctively perceive many flaws and inefficiencies within his killer moves.

As thoughts surged through his mind, the framework of Divine Fire Yama was continuously adjusted and refined. Although he lacked the assistance of Dream Derivation Gu, the speed of improvement was still far beyond what it had been during his Gu Master Stage.

Three days passed in the blink of an eye.

Lin Yan spent five immortal essence stones in Treasure Yellow Heaven and purchased thousands of Gu worms for various experiments. After countless adjustments and refinements, he finally completed a brand-new immortal killer move, Crimson Virtue True Body.

With Fire Control Immortal Gu as the core and more than three hundred Gu worms as support, the killer move integrated numerous effects into a single system. It strengthened the body, amplified the power of flames, enhanced control, and accelerated thought processes.

Once activated, Crimson Virtue True Body would greatly enhance every aspect of a Gu Immortal's combat ability.

Lin Yan estimated that with this move alone, his strength had already surpassed the limits of ordinary Rank 6 Gu Immortals.

Even so, he did not become complacent. No matter how flawless a killer move appeared in deduction, its true value could only be proven through actual use.

Unfortunately, testing immortal killer moves was expensive. Every activation of Crimson Virtue True Body consumed two beads of green grape immortal essence.

For an ordinary Rank 6 Gu Immortal, such expenditure would already be difficult to sustain.

Lin Yan rubbed his chin thoughtfully. Rather than repeatedly consuming immortal essence on testing, it would be better to find a suitable opponent and verify the move in actual combat.

Of course, such considerations mainly applied to ordinary Gu Immortals. His situation was somewhat special.

Immortal essence could regenerate continuously. In theory, as long as enough time passed, a Gu Immortal would never truly run out of immortal essence. In reality, however, immortal essence was consumed everywhere: activating killer moves, refining Gu, developing the immortal aperture, undergoing tribulations, and countless other matters.

Because of this, Gu Immortals rarely fought without reason. Every battle consumed valuable resources, while every day spent accumulating immortal essence increased one's foundation and deterrence.

Only three days had passed in the outside world, yet Lin Yan's reserves had already increased by another eighteen beads of green grape immortal essence. Including his previous savings, he now possessed a total of seventy beads.
