The cheers for the 10th Division were deafening. The air in the Coliseum was thick with victory and the scent of ozone. Elias stood at the center, surrounded by his team. Vela was leaning against a pillar, tossing a handful of snacks into her mouth. "So Elias," she chirped, "looks like you're the new celeb. You better not forget your teammates."
Even the 9th Division stepped forward. Lyra, walked up to Elias. Her face was a deep shade of crimson, looking everywhere but at his eyes. ".... Nice... em... you did..." she stammered, twisting her fingers.
Sora stepped in with a knowing smirk, patting Elias on the shoulder. "She meant good job, hero."
"Thanks, guys," Elias replied, he smiled and laughed with he's friends he's team and he's new family.
The Announcer reached for the Golden Trophy, the ultimate symbol of the tournament's glory. He held it high, the sun catching the -gold finish. But as he reached out to hand it to Elias, the world went cold.
"Void Shell."
The voice didn't come from the stadium floor. It came from everywhere at once—the voice echoed throughout the colesium.
A black, transparent barrier erupted from the Ring's edge. It shot upward, sealing the arena floor like a tomb. High in the VIP spire, Zane, Doc Von, and the Captains surged forward, confused ,then
Reid Gideon Swallow punched the barrier with a fist , but nothing happened, there wasn't even a scratch, then a surge of evo-energy erupted
"Such power... what is going on?" Liora whispered, her hand trembling against the glass.
Then, he appeared.
He didn't drop from the sky; he simply emerged from the crowd as if he had always been there, walking through the panic with terrifying grace. Magals. He stood draped in his magenta and gold Commander robes, his dark skin shimmering with ancient Zethrian patterns.
"I am Magals. 10th Commander of the Zethrians."
The pressure he released was physical. It was a gravitational tidal wave. In the stands, citizens and Xenocide soldiers alike were slammed to their knees, gasping for air. The sheer weight of his power made the stone floor groan and crack.
Drakye Void roared from the balcony, punched the void shell and lunched series of attack but nothing happened, not even a scratch, "Don't bother trying to break it," Magals said, his pink eyes scanning the Ring with bored indifference. "It won't work unless I say so. Wait your turn, Captains. I'm going to kill you, too, once I'm done with these snacks."
Inside the Ring, the air turned electric. The 10th Division immediately dropped into combat stances. They were joined by the remnants of the other divisions: Temi Nova (5th), Cryo (2nd), Mira Ice,(5th) and Tessa Sol.(3rd)
Leo Rho, a hot-headed striker from the 4th, let out a scream of defiance. "I don't care who you are!" He ignited his boots and blurred toward Magals, a fist aimed at the Commander's throat.
Magals didn't even look at him.
There was no sound of a struggle. One moment, Leo was mid-air; the next, Magals was standing exactly where he had been, but his hand was buried in Leo's chest. With a sickening squelch, Magals retracted his hand, holding a still-beating heart. Leo dropped to the ground, his eyes wide and lifeless.
"Holy shit, .... shit shit !" Kaizen Flux shouted from the stands, his face pale. "They're all going to die in there!"the crowd went silenced filled with fear, that they could be next , the captain were rendered helpless and useless, all they could do was sit down and watch the fight.
"You humans stand no chance," Magals said, casually crushing the heart in his palm. "Just make this easy, would ya?"
Elias stepped forward, his silver eyes burning with a rage His scales began to crawl up his neck. "I'm gonna kill you, for what you've done" Elias hissed
"Don't jump in foolishly!" Temi Nova snapped, her heavy water swirling around her like a protective serpent.
Elias didn't look back. "If you can't keep up, stand back.", "tch" temi hissed ,then all of a sudden
Magals raised a clawed hand toward the sky. "Rise, my children. Feed."
Rifts opened in the space behind him. Hundreds of smaller, spindly Zethrian drones and hulking Alpha-beasts rushed out, their screeches filling the Coliseum. The Xenocides were instantly outnumbered.
The 10th moved as a single unit. Sloane stood at the center, her hands glowing with a soft, green light, funneling every bit of her Evo-energy into her teammates to ensure they were at 100%.
Vela, however, watched a group of smaller aliens charge her. She yawned, sidestepping a claw with an inch to spare, and shoved a piece of dried meat into her mouth. She wandered over to a fallen bench, sat down, and began to munch calmly while the chaos erupted around her. "You guys got this," she mumbled.
Rook led the charge, his body becoming a walking fortress of reinforced steel. He slammed into an Alpha-beast, his fists reinforced with metal.
Beside him, Renji moved like a shadow, his blades weaving through the gaps in the aliens' armor.
Jaxen and Nyx flanked the Commander. Jaxen unleashed a Static Field to slow the drones, while Nyx sliced through the drones .
Mikasa acted as the tactical anchor. She deployed a plasma gun that blasted the incoming drones. "Focus on the Commander!" she commanded. "The drones are just a distraction!"
Elias launched himself at Magals. his body becoming a blur of silver and obsidian. He threw a punch backed by every ounce of his new strength.
CLANG.
Magals caught the fist. The shockwave of the impact shattered the ground beneath them for twenty feet.
"Such strength,," Magals mused, looking at Elias's scales. "But I'm stronger ."
Magals' tail flicked, the Poison Sting aimed at Elias's throat. Elias tilted his head, the blade grazing his cheek. Immediately, the skin began to rot, turning a sickly black. Elias grunted, his High-Speed Regeneration fighting the necro-toxin in real-time. Steam hissed from the wound as the Zethrian poison ,"regeneration" magals eyes widened "interesting" now it's my turn "Space Breach!" Magals whispered.
Magals' left hand didn't move toward Elias. He punched into the air away from him.
Elias's eyes widened as a spatial rift opened directly against his ribs. The invisible punch landed with the force of a falling moon. Elias was sent skipping across the Ring, coughing up blood.
"Elias!" Nyx screamed. She teleported behind Magals, her plasma blade drawn.
"Reverse."
The moment Nyx's blade touched Magals' robe, her own shoulder exploded in a spray of blood. She gasped, collapsing to her knees, looking at a wound that should have been on Magals.
"My Law is Inviolability," Magals explained, his voice devoid of emotion. "To touch me is to hurt yourself. To see me is to be blinded by your own insignificance."
Jaxen roared, unleashing a 10-Million Volt Discharge. The lightning struck Magals head-on, turning the area into a blinding white sphere of energy.
But when the light faded, Magals was still standing. He hadn't even moved. He wasn't affected,
"Is that all?" Magals asked.
Mira Ice and Temi Nova moved in tandem. Mira froze the ground beneath Magals to anchor him, while Temi summoned a vortex of heavy water to crush him.
Magals simply looked at them. The Gravity Anchor intensified. Mira's ice shattered under the weight, and Temi's water crashed to the floor, becoming a shallow puddle that couldn't even rise.
"You're making this boring," Magals said. He raised his hand, and a sphere of dark energy began to form. "Energy Beam."
The beam was a horizontal line of erasure. It moved across the Ring, turning stone, metal, and flesh into gray dust. The Xenocides scrambled to survive, but the pressure of the gravity made every movement feel like a marathon.
Elias stood up, his obsidian arm smoking, his eyes glowing brighter than ever. He saw his friends struggling, saw Nyx bleeding, and felt the raw, terrifying gap between a human and a Zethrian Commander.
"I told you," Elias growled, his body beginning to shift. His scales didn't just cover his arms anymore; they began to form a jagged, demonic armor across his chest. "I'm going to kill you."
Magals smirked, a look of genuine amusement finally crossing his face. "Then come, little snack. Back those words with action."
The battle was only beginning. The Coliseum was no longer a stage for a tournament—it was an altar of slaughter, and Magals was the priest.
