The atmosphere outside the Void Shell was one of helpless, mounting fury. Zane, lunged forward.
His fist didn't just carry physical force—it was an atomic blast.
He threw it against the black film of the barrier.
BOOM.
The shockwave rattled the entire Coliseum, cracking the windows of the VIP booths, but as the smoke cleared, the barrier remained as smooth and obsidian-dark as before.
"Not even a scratch," Zane whispered, his breath hitching. His hand, , trembled.
"If what he said is true, there is nothing we can do from the outside," Doc Von said, "It's not just a wall, Zane. It's a displacement of space-time.
they're in a different dimensions.... Damn it... how could this have happened under our nose? ... it was like he was invisible to reality itself until he chose to be seen."
Inside void shell
The Ring was a chaotic blur of silver, blue, and magenta. Elias, Nyx, Renji, Rook, Jaxen, and Mikasa stood in a tight formation, their breathing synchronized but heavy. Around them, the screams of the Xenocides and the Zethrian drones clashed, the odds where against them.
"Damn it! Every time we attack,it's like he reverses the damage," Nyx hissed, clutching her bleeding shoulder. Her face changed for the first time ,
she was afraid to attack again. "He's not just blocking us. He's making us kill ourselves. We need a plan, or we're just a suicide squad."
"I might be able to help."
A new voice cut through the static of battle. Vex, the silent prodigy from the 2nd Division, stepped forward. He had just finished decapitating a Zethrian drone with a flick of his wrist. His eyes were cold, glowing with a faint, green light.
"Huh... Vex?" Renji replied, his dual blades spinning. "Are you sure, you have a plan ".
"Of course, I have a plan" Vex said calmly. "But my plan is to slow down time specifically for him, but the problem is I have to touch him"
"Why can't you just do it from a distance?" Elias asked, "I can," Vex explained, his eyes darting to where Magals stood, casually swatting away Tessa Sol's threads. "But if I do it from here, I slow down time for everyone in the shell. To isolate a specific individual's timeline and drag it into a crawl, I need physical contact. His Reverse attack relies on Causal Logic—the moment he is hit, he replaces the 'Effect' with a 'Cause.' If I slow his personal time to a near-halt, his brain won't be able to trigger the Reverse on time. There will be a window—a few milliseconds—where he is just a man made of flesh. We can damage him then."
Elias nodded, his silver eyes flashing. The plan was high-risk, but it was their only bridge across the gap of Inviolability. "I see. Okay, listen up! Renji, Jaxen, Rook—you're the noise. Distract him! Make him look everywhere but at his own shadow. Nyx, you're the transport. Get Vex close. I'll provide the opening and attack head-on. We only get one shot at this."
The Diversion
Tessa Sol (3rd) continued her relentless attack.
Her Thread Manipulation created a web of ultra-thin, diamond-filament wires that glowed with solar energy. She didn't try to cut Magals; she tried to bind his limbs, creating a cage of light.
Temi Nova (5th) followed instantly. She collapsed the moisture in the air into a Heavy Water Vortex, a swirling, high-pressure liquid hammer that slammed into the wire cage.
Mira Ice added the final layer, freezing Temi's water into a Cryo-Casing. For a moment, Magals was trapped in a tomb of reinforced ice and solar wire.
"Now!" Elias roared.
Rook charged like a locomotive, his metal skin glowing white-hot. He slammed into the ice tomb with a roar, force shattering the casing into a million projectiles. Behind the shards, Jaxen unleashed a Chain-Lightning Burst, turning the ice fragments into electrified shrapnel.
Magals stood in the center of the storm, his magenta robes barely fluttering. He raised a hand, his pink eyes glowing with boredom. "Gravity Anchor."
The ground beneath the attackers didn't just crack; it vanished. The gravity intensified so sharply that Rook's metal armor began to buckle under his own weight. Jaxen's lightning was dragged into the dirt, earthing out before it could reach the Commander.
"Is this the best the border , last hope of humanity has to offer?" Magals asked. "A few children playing with elements?"
He didn't see Renji coming. Renji had used the star eyes and the smoke to mask he's scent.
He appeared in Magals' blind spot, his blades aiming for the Commander's hamstrings.
Magals' tail flicked out with the speed of a whip. CLANG. The bladed tail parried Renji's twin swords without the Commander even turning around.
But that was exactly what Elias wanted.
"Nyx! Go!"
Nyx grabbed Vex's arm. She didn't teleport once; she chained five rapid-fire teleports, flickering through the air like a glitch in a video game. She appeared directly above Magals, her spatial energy screaming.
Magals looked up, his hand glowing with an Energy Beam. "Predictable."
He fired, but Nyx didn't dodge. Her body reacted on it own She swapped her position with a falling piece of stone at the last microsecond. In her place Vex emerged from magals blind spot his hand outstretched, glowing with amber Evo -energy.
Magals' eyes widened slightly. He tried to trigger Reverse, but Vex's fingers made contact with the Commander's golden shoulder mantle.
" Time -Lock !" Vex screamed.
The world didn't stop, but for Magals, the air turned into solid concrete. His core, which beat at a Zethrian frequency, slowed to one throb every ten seconds. To everyone else, Magals looked like he was moving in extreme slow motion. He tried to raise his hand to blast Vex, but it took him an eternity to move an inch.
"He's open!" Vex shouted, his face turning pale from the strain of holding a Commander's timeline. "Do it now!"
Elias didn't hesitate. He lunged towards magals
His obsidian scales didn't just cover his body; they fused into a single, jagged exoskeleton that leaked silver steam. He looked less like a human and more like a dragon.
"This is for the world you destroyed!"
Elias blurred forward. With Magals' Reverse delayed by Vex's time-lock, the Inviolability was gone. Elias reached Magals and unleashed a flurry of strikes that moved faster than sound.
Left hook. The obsidian fist slammed into Magals' jaw, drawing the first drop of Zethrian blood—a thick, glowing violet liquid.
Right cross. The strike shattered the gold ornaments on Magals' robe.
Double-palm thrust. Elias slammed his hands into Magals' chest, that sent the Commander flying backward.
Because of the time-lock, Magals couldn't adjust his weight. He hit the stone floor with the force of a falling star, sliding across the Ring and slamming into the far side of the Void Shell..
Inside the VIP spire, the Captains stood up as one. Drakye Void's eyes were wide. "They... they actually landed a hit. They drew blood."
Magals lay in the crater, his magenta robes torn. For the first time, his face wasn't bored. It was twisted into a mask of cold, lethal calculation.
Vex fell to his knees, blood pouring from his nose. "I... I can't hold him anymore! He's pushing back! His to strong !"
The amber glow shattered.
Magals stood up slowly. He wiped the violet blood from his lip, looking at it with a strange, terrifying curiosity. Then, he looked at Elias.
"You managed to delay the inevitable," Magals said, his voice dropping an octave, becoming a guttural growl that shook the Coliseum. "You used time as a shield. Clever snacks. But time can't stop me,".
He looked at vex and was pushing and pushing,he was regaining he's speed," you humans are so simple minded" magals said with a terrifying smile on he's face , vex was bleeding losing control "I'm.... Losing...con Sloane steps in an began to heal him "don't worry I got you " Sloane said as her hand glowed with green light, keeping vex from losing control and giving them a chance to win.
