The lioness yawned widely as she walked, stretching her arms high above her head.
Tessa, who was walking close by, got hit full force by the unpleasant stench from her mouth. She tried to ignore it at first, but then Yasmine raised her hands again, and the bushy hair under her armpit ended up smeared right across Tessa's face.
The smell was so overwhelming that Tessa felt like her soul nearly detached from her body, as if she had ascended to another realm.
"Oh dear, my nose... that's assault," Tessa muttered, deciding to step aside to catch her breath.
The stench had nearly suffocated her lungs, leaving her wondering if she would make it through the journey at all. Goodness, she couldn't stand it anymore.
"Mind if I follow you both, but not too close to that lioness?" Tessa whispered to Zane.
He nodded, clearly happy to have her walking alongside him.
