Chapter 22 - THE BEGINNING OF THE HEAVEN ERASER

Chapter 22:THE BEGINNING OF THE HEAVEN ERASER

Tian Shu looked down upon them, his gaze filled with contempt.

"You trash clan… you still dare to breathe?" he said coldly. "You are not welcome here."

With a mere thought—

Gravity descended.

Bones cracked.

Wang Zhong and the others collapsed as the crushing force shattered their bodies. Blood stained the ground as pain spread through the entire Wang Clan.

From above, Tian Shu declared:

"From this day forward… your clan will serve as slaves on this planet."

Within his mind, a darker thought echoed—

I won't let you live in peace. Prepare for endless suffering.

Around them, countless beings reacted.

"They deserve it."

"Trash clan."

"Be grateful God Tian Shu spared your lives, dogs."

Laughter filled the air.

Some remained silent, watching with faint pity—but none dared to step forward.

---

Far away—

A woman stood hidden in the distance.

Xun Yu.

Her eyes trembled as she looked at Wang Zhong.

Wang Zhong… thank you… for saving me back then…

Tears fell silently.

It hurts… seeing the one you love suffer like this…

---

Four days later.

Rain poured endlessly.

The Wang Clan was forced to build crude dirt houses at the edge of Tian Shu's city.

One clan member slipped while carrying mud.

A guard from the Guang Clan struck him brutally—across the back, across the face. Blood spilled instantly.

The man struggled to stand.

"S-Sorry… master…"

The guard kicked him down again, laughing.

The others could only watch in silence.

---

Outside Tian Shu's hall—

Wang Zhong was being beaten.

Punches rained down.

Laughter echoed.

Then—

A final strike.

Darkness consumed him.

His body was left outside, unmoving, as rain soaked him completely.

No one cared.

No one stopped.

---

From the distance—

Xun Yu ran forward.

Seeing no one nearby, she rushed to his side, trembling.

She tried to feed him a healing pill—but his lips wouldn't open.

For a moment, she hesitated.

Then, with determination, she placed the pill in her own mouth and gently passed it to him.

Her face flushed—

But she didn't stop.

After making sure he swallowed it, she quickly left.

---

One day later—

The dirt houses were finally complete.

The Wang Clan knelt weakly.

"We… finished…"

A mix of relief and sorrow filled their expressions.

But far away—

Twenty-two of their members lay dead.

Tian Shu stood before their bodies.

"How dare you try to escape?"

"No matter where you go… I will find you."

---

Later that day—

Tian Shu arrived at their filthy settlement.

"Looking for someone?" he mocked. "I already killed twenty of your clan."

The Wang Clan immediately knelt.

"Good day, God Tian Shu…"

He kicked one of them in the head and spat on him.

"They tried to escape," he said casually.

Then his gaze sharpened.

"That's good, right? Trash like you should die."

"…Yes… they deserve it…" the clan members said in fear.

Behind them—

Wang Shuang clenched his fists.

You demon… you will pay for this.

---

Elsewhere—

Wang Zhong slowly regained consciousness.

His body felt stronger.

"That mysterious being… helped me again…"

He looked at the sky.

"Whoever you are… I will repay you."

---

When he returned—

He froze.

Bodies.

Everywhere.

Only five remained alive.

Wang Shuang. Wang Gao. And a few others.

Tears streamed down Wang Zhong's face.

"They're worse than demons…"

"We can't fight back…" one member said bitterly. "We're mortals now…"

Wang Zhong took a deep breath.

"That being… helped me before…"

"…maybe it can help us again."

Hope flickered faintly.

---

One day later—

Wang Zhong was thrown into the sea by Tian Shu's guards.

His body sank, wounded and unconscious.

From the shore—

Xun Yu saw everything.

Without hesitation, she ran while tears fell and she dove into the water.

She grabbed him and activated a teleportation scroll.

---

Inside her home—

Wang Zhong slowly opened his eyes.

Xun Yu turned away.

"You're awake… that's good."

"…You're the one who saved me?" he asked weakly.

"Yes."

"…Who are you?"

"I'm Xun Yu. You saved me and my father nine years ago."

Wang Zhong paused.

"…I remember now."

She handed him a spatial ring filled with healing pills.

"Thank you," he said softly.

"Don't call me 'sister'," she said quickly. "Just call me Xun Yu."

"…Alright."

---

But her expression changed.

Tears filled her eyes.

"Our elders… are forcing me to marry Tian Zhi… Tian Shu's general…"

"If I refuse… they'll harm my parents…"

"They say it's for the clan's future…"

She knelt, trembling.

"I don't know what to do…"

Wang Zhong stepped closer.

"I'm here."

She turned, looking up at him with trembling eyes.

"…Since the first time I saw you… I fell in love with you…"

"I want you… not that demon…"

She held his face gently.

"I don't want him to touch me…"

Then—

She leaned forward and kissed him.

Wang Zhong froze.

His first kiss.

His heart pounded as everything around him fell silent.

And for the first time since the fall of his clan—

He felt something other than despair.

---

Wang Zhong staggered slightly, still weak.

Xun Yu held onto him, her hands trembling.

"…Wang Zhong… can I ask you something?"

"What is it?" he asked softly.

She hesitated, then spoke in a trembling voice—

"I don't want that demon to take everything from me…"

Her tears fell.

"If that day really comes…"

"…I would rather give myself… to someone I truly trust…"

She looked directly into his eyes.

"…to you."

Silence filled the room.

Wang Zhong gently held her shoulders.

"Xun Yu…"

"You shouldn't say that."

"You deserve to choose your future freely… not out of fear."

His gaze hardened slightly.

"I won't let anyone force you."

"Not Tian Shu. Not your clan. Not anyone."

She trembled.

"I may be nothing right now…" he continued, "but I promise you—"

"I'll protect you."

Xun Yu's tears fell again.

"…but I truly love you… more than anything…"

Her voice shook.

"…can you do this favor for me?"

Wang Zhong's expression tightened.

"No… I can't."

But Xun Yu stepped closer, hugging him tightly.

Zhong… my love… she thought silently, no matter what… I want you to be my first…

They slowly sat on the edge of the bed.

She leaned forward and kissed him again.

Softly.

Then deeper.

Wang Zhong's thoughts grew chaotic.

She helped me so many times…

Should I…?

"No… I shouldn't…"

But when he looked at her—

Her eyes were filled with sincerity and love.

Silence stretched between them.

"…can we…?" she whispered.

Wang Zhong took a deep breath.

"…I can't…"

Yet this time—

He didn't pull away.

Instead, he closed his eyes—

and kissed her back.

"…I'm sorry..if i will do this…" he murmured.

Xun Yu smiled through her tears.

"…then don't think anymore…"

---

Later—

They lay beneath a blanket.

Xun Yu rested her head gently on his arm.

The storm outside softened into a quiet drizzle.

She looked at him.

He looked back at her.

"Xun Yu… don't worry," Wang Zhong said softly.

"I will do everything I can to help you."

He paused.

"…and when all of this is over…"

"I will marry you."

Xun Yu's eyes filled with light.

"I'll wait," she whispered.

They held each other in silence.
