Chapter 30 - Part 2-Episode 10:A World Without Memories

Light.

That's all there was.

Endless…

blinding…

silent light.

And then—

darkness.

I opened my eyes slowly.

Everything felt… normal.

Too normal.

The sound of people talking.

Footsteps.

Books closing.

Life moving on.

I was in the library.

Sitting alone.

A book open in front of me.

I blinked.

Confused.

"Why does it feel like…" I whispered,

"…I forgot something important?"

But the feeling faded quickly.

Like it didn't matter.

Like it was never there.

On the other side of the campus…

Riya stood near the same window.

Looking outside.

Peaceful.

Calm.

No fear.

No memories.

No pain.

But still—

her heart felt… heavy.

She placed her hand on her chest.

"Strange…" she murmured.

"Why do I feel like I'm waiting for someone?"

The breeze passed softly.

Carrying something invisible.

Something familiar.

And then—

fate moved.

Later that day…

in the corridor—

we crossed paths.

Just like before.

Our shoulders brushed.

A simple touch.

Accidental.

But—

time paused.

Not the world.

Just… us.

I turned back.

She turned back too.

Our eyes met.

That same feeling.

That same silence.

That same connection.

Like something deep inside us…

recognized each other.

Even if we didn't know why.

"Sorry…" I said.

Automatically.

"It's okay," she replied softly.

But neither of us moved.

There was something in her eyes.

Something I couldn't explain.

"Do I… know you?" she asked quietly.

My mind said no.

But my heart—

hesitated.

"…I don't think so," I replied.

She nodded slowly.

But her expression didn't change.

"Strange…" she whispered.

"It feels like I do."

A faint smile appeared on my lips.

Without reason.

"Maybe…" I said,

"…we're meant to."

She looked at me for a moment longer.

Then—

smiled.

Softly.

Naturally.

And just like that—

we walked away.

Different directions.

But something had started again.

Not memories.

Not the past.

Just a feeling.

A beginning.

❤️ Final Line:

We forgot everything…

but somehow—

our hearts still remembered how to find each other.
