Kiefer's POV
Jay had been gone for three minutes.
Not that I was counting.
I was absolutely counting.
Cin had half stood up to follow her and then sat back down when she told him to stay and now he was restlessly tapping his pen on his notebook looking towards the kitchen door every thirty seconds like a lost puppy.😟😮
I gave it exactly one more minute.
Then I got up.
"Where are you going?" Yuri appeared beside me immediately.
"Kitchen."
Yuri looked pointedly at the completely untouched drink sitting right next to my notes.
Then back at me.☠️
I put the drink down and walked towards the kitchen door without another word.
Behind me I heard Yuri make that very specific sound.👂
I ignored it completely.👀
I pushed open the kitchen door and stepped inside.🧍♂️
Jay was standing at the counter filling a glass of water completely unbothered her back to the door.
And standing a few feet away from her leaning against the kitchen counter with that easy confident smile was a Section A boy I had noticed earlier.
Oliver.
He was tall. Good looking in that annoyingly smooth way.
The kind of guy who was clearly very aware of exactly how he looked and used it freely.🙄
"You know—" he was saying casually "—I noticed you during class.
You're really focused. I like that."🎯
Jay turned around from the counter glass of water🥛 in hand and looked at him with that completely flat expression she reserved for people she had absolutely zero interest in.
"Okay." She said and turned back to the counter.
Oliver smiled wider. Completely undeterred.
"I'm Oliver."
He said moving slightly closer. "Section A.
I don't think we've properly met."
"Jay." He said not turning around.
"Jay." He repeated like he was tasting the name. "I've heard about you actually.
Section E's—"
"Whatever you heard." Jay said flatly. "It was probably true. Goodbye."
I almost laughed, almost. 😂
Oliver laughed. Actually laughed.
like her complete and total disinterest was the most charming thing he had ever encountered.
"You're funny." He said stepping closer again. "And honestly—" his voice dropped slightly smoother "—you're really—"
That's it I lost control 😡😡😡😡
I crossed the kitchen in four steps came up directly behind Jay and placed my hand firmly on her waist possessively not too tightly to hurt but firmly.
Oliver stopped mid sentence.
"She's taken."
I said looking directly at him over Jay's head.
My voice came out completely calm.
Completely quiet. "And she's not interested. We're leaving."
Oliver's easy smile stayed on his face for exactly three more seconds.😬
Then he looked between me and Jay read the situation completely and stepped back raising both hands.
"My bad." He said simply and walked out of the kitchen without another word.
The kitchen door swung shut behind him.
Jay spun around immediately eyes wide. "WHAT—"
I kissed her.💋
Not like the soft passionate or affectionate one but hungry,🥵😳 possessive one like kiss which took away the breath
and was like I was claiming what's mine. It was fast ,deep and hungry one 🥵👄and later I also bit her lower lip to get more axis and slowly entered my tongue in her mouth .
First, she was shocked for complete two seconds before reciprocating and slowly our tongues started fighting for dominance. ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
I was in shock I kissed her was ok but she was also kissing with same intense feeling 🥵which I am doing.
Completely. Hungrily.
Like I had been holding it in since the moment I walked through the front door and saw her standing there
in that outfit being stared at by every single person in the room.
Shy. Soft. Flustered in that way she would absolutely never admit to in front of anyone ever.😳😳😳
When I finally pulled back I rested my forehead gently against hers and stayed there for a moment just breathing her in.
The kitchen was completely silent.
"Kiefer." Her voice came out smaller than usual. Almost a whisper.
"Profanity." I said quietly.
She blinked. "What?"🫦
"The group chat." I said. "You used profanity."
A beat of complete silence.
"That was hours ago ----------"
I kissed her again. Shorter this time. She went completely still again and I felt her face grow warm under my hands.
When I pulled back she was just standing there.
Eyes slightly wide. Face completely flustered. Brain clearly not functioning at full capacity.
I looked at her for one long moment.
Damn you Jay. I thought again. You have absolutely no idea.
"What was he saying to you?" I asked quietly.
"He—" She blinked trying to pull herself together. "He was just flirting. Saying he noticed me during class.
Nothing serious."
"I know." I said simply.
"Then why did you—"
"Because he was standing too close."
I said. "And looking at you the wrong way."
Jay opened her mouth.
Closed it. Opened it again.
Nothing came out.
I looked at her for one more second then stepped back.
"Drink your water."
I said quietly. "Break is almost over."
I turned and walked back towards the garden.
Behind me I heard absolutely no sound from Jay whatsoever.
Good.
Back in the garden break wrapped up and Sir Alvin resumed the session.
Everyone settled back into their spots and class continued normally.
I sat down opened my notes and tried to focus.
Beside me Yuri leaned over immediately.
"You were gone for seven minutes."
"I got water."
"You don't have water."
"I wasn't thirsty anymore."
Yuri stared at me for a long moment then looked across the garden to where Jay had just sat down beside Cin and was very carefully staring at her notes with her face slightly turned away from everyone🤨.
Yuri looked back at me.
I looked at Sir Alvin.
"Kiefer."🧐
"Eyes on Sir Alvin Yuri."
She made that sound again.
I ignored it again.
Class continued and Sir Alvin was wrapping up the final topic when I felt that familiar cold feeling settle in my chest again.
Daniel.
He was back to his old habits. Eyes fixed on Jay who was leaning over her notes talking quietly to Cin about something.
His gaze was not on her face. Not on her notes.
I stared at him directly.
He didn't even notice.
Didn't even feel my eyes on him this time.
Too focused on Jay to care about anything else.
My jaw tightened.
From beside me I could feel Yuri had noticed too.
She had gone very still.
"Kiefer—" she started quietly.
"I see him." I said.
"Should we—"
"I see him." I repeated.
Sir Alvin finally wrapped up.
"That concludes today's session everyone! Good work!"
Immediately the garden relaxed. Notebooks closed. People stretched.
Conversations started up everywhere.
Jay looked around for a moment then stood up. "My phone."
She said to Cin patting her empty pocket. "I left it on the sofa."
"I'll get it—" Cin started standing.
"I'll get it myself Cin it's right there." Jay said already heading towards the sofa near the garden entrance.
I watched her go.
I also watched Daniel stand up from his spot casually and start moving in the same direction.🧐🧐
That cold feeling in my chest turned into something else entirely.
Don't. I thought staring at him. Don't you dare.😡🤬
Jay reached the sofa and leaned over to pick up her phone.
Daniel walked past her.
And then deliberately slowly with that disgusting smirk 🤬🤬🤬already forming on his face his elbow made direct contact.
Jay froze.
Every single muscle in her body went completely rigid.
I saw it happen.
I saw every single second of it. I saw the flash of pure disgust cross her face. 😦☠️💀I saw her jaw tighten. I saw her eyes go hard and cold.
And then I saw her hands.
Her fists.
Clenched so tight her knuckles had gone white.
She was controlling herself.
If Kiefer sees this— I could practically see the thought crossing her face. —he will lose it completely.😤😮💨👊
"Oops." Daniel said with that smirk. "Sorry."
I looked at the smirk.
I looked at Jay's white knuckled fists.
Something in me snapped completely.
I was across the garden before anyone even realized I had moved.
My fist 👊connected with Daniel's face so hard and so fast that the sound echoed across the entire garden.
Daniel went down.
Blood. Immediate. From his nose.👃
The garden erupted.
"WHAT THE—" someone from Section A shouted jumping up.
"KIEFER!!" Yuri screamed.
And then Section E was on their feet all at once.
"YO WHAT DID HE DO—" Felix was already moving forward eyes blazing.
"HE TOUCHED HER—" Calix shouted pointing at Daniel who was still on the ground.
"HE TOUCHED JAY?!" Cin's voice came out completely different from his usual self. Cold. Furious. 🤬
"HE TOUCHED OUR MUTYA".
"BRO IS DEAD—" Blaster cracked his knuckles already stepping forward.👊
"SECTION A YOUR BOY IS FINISHED—" Eren shouted across the garden.
"WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER—" Drew stepped forward his voice shaking with anger.
"SAY SORRY TO HER RIGHT NOW—" Yuri pointed at Daniel her voice absolutely trembling with rage.
"YOU TOUCHED SECTION E'S MUTYA—" David said his voice dangerously quiet which was somehow worse than all the shouting.
"Do you have any idea what you just did."
Section A boys jumped up immediately.
"YO BACK OFF—" one of them shouted pushing Felix back.
"DON'T TOUCH HIM—" another grabbed Calix's arm.
"GET YOUR HANDS OFF ME—" Felix shoved back hard.
The garden became absolute chaos.
Section E and Section A shouting pushing shoving all at once chairs flying notebooks scattering.
"WHAT IS HAPPENING HERE?!"
Angelo's voice thundered across the garden like a thunderclap.
Everything stopped.
Angelo came through the garden door taking in the scene in one sweep.
Daniel on the ground bleeding. Kiefer standing over him.
Section E and Section A facing each other. Jay standing completely still near the sofa.
"Someone explain. RIGHT NOW." Angelo said his voice dangerously quiet.
Yuri stepped forward immediately. "That boy—" she pointed at Daniel "—touched Jay.
On purpose. And he smirked about it."
The entire garden went completely silent.
Angelo turned to look at Daniel very slowly.
Daniel was still on the ground holding his face blood dripping from his nose.
"Stand up." Angelo said quietly.
Daniel stood up slowly.
"It was an acc—"
Angelo's punch landed clean and hard.
Daniel stumbled back hitting the garden wall.
"You don't touch her." Angelo's voice was ice cold.
"You don't look at her. You don't come within three feet of her. Are we absolutely clear?"
Daniel said nothing just breathing hard holding his face.
"I asked you a question." Angelo stepped closer.
"...Clear." Daniel managed through gritted teeth.
Angelo straightened up and turned to the Section A boys who had gone completely still.
"Keep. Your people. In line." He said simply. "This is your only warning."
From across the garden Aries who had been on a phone call near the side wall had ended his call the moment the chaos started and now stood there having clearly caught the end of the explanation from the Section E members near him.
His expression had gone from confused to understanding to absolutely dangerous in about four seconds flat.🤨😠😡
He started walking forward.
"Aries—" Ella appeared beside him immediately grabbing his arm.
"Stop. Don't."
"Ella—"
"Stop." She said firmly pulling his arm. "It's handled."
Aries stopped. He looked at Daniel for one long moment. Then at Jay.
Then back at Daniel.😤
"You're lucky." He said very quietly. "Very very lucky."
Then Ella turned.
And looked at Jay.
"Honestly—" her voice was sharp and deliberate "—if she wasn't walking around dressed like that none of this would have happened in the first place."
The garden went quiet in a completely different way.
Every single member of Section E turned to look at Ella.
Jay didn't move. Didn't flinch. Didn't blink.
She looked at Ella with the most calm unbothered expression I had ever seen on her face — like Ella was not even worth the energy of a response — and then simply looked away.
Like Ella was nothing.
"Ella." Aries said quietly.
"What? I'm just saying what everyone is think—"
"Ella."
His voice was firmer. "Stop. Now."
"But—"
"What that boy did—" Aries looked at her directly "—has absolutely nothing to do with what Jay is wearing. Stop. Now."😒🥺
Ella pressed her lips together and said nothing more.
Sir Alvin who had been standing near the garden wall watching everything with extremely wide eyes cleared his throat very quietly.
"I believe that truly concludes today's session." He said carefully gathering his things very quickly.
People started moving slowly quietly the energy in the garden completely drained.
I watched Jay pick up her phone from the sofa quietly. She wasn't shaking. Wasn't crying.
Wasn't showing anything at all on the outside.
But I had seen her fists.
I knew.
I fell into step behind her as everyone started heading inside and when we reached the hallway just inside the door away from everyone else I came up close behind her and leaned down so my voice was only for her.
"He touched you Jay." I said quietly against her ear. "Nobody touches what is mine." I paused. "I don't share." 😬👿
My voice dropped lower. "And I definitely don't share you." Another pause.
"And you—" I pulled back just enough to look at her properly "—you are mine."
Jay stood very still.
She didn't say anything.
But I saw it — the way her shoulders dropped just slightly.
The way her breath came out slowly.
The way something in her expression softened just for one unguarded second before she pulled it back together.
I stepped back.
"Go rest." I said quietly.
And I walked back outside leaving her standing in the hallway in silence.
Jay Jay's POV
I stood in the hallway for a long moment after he walked away.
My heart was doing those completely ridiculous butterfly things 🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋and my face was warm and my brain had temporarily forgotten how to function like a normal brain.
From the sofa beside me Cin appeared from nowhere sat himself down crossed his legs and looked up at me with that expression.
I already knew what was coming.
"Not a word Cin." I said without looking at him.
"I didn't say anything."
"Not. A. Word."
A pause.
"He literally called you his—"
"CIN."
"Okay okay." He raised both hands. Then after exactly three seconds — "You're smiling Jay."
I was not smiling.
I pressed my lips together very firmly.🫣
Gagang baliw. 🫠
I thought turning away from Cin before he could see my face.🦋
A pause.
...But he's MY gagang baliw.
I hid my smile all the way up the stairs.😳
