"What?" The gasp came through clearly even without sound.

A long pause followed. "Nova. I do not know what to say."
I shrugged. It is why I was brought here. Why I am on the good floor of the house.
"That explains why my wolf will not let me so much as consider hurting you," she said slowly, working through it. "But why has he not claimed you yet? You are our Luna, Nova."
