Tara stood among her friends as they chatted. Throughout the entire event, she had barely eaten or drunk anything. She only held a glass for appearances' sake and never took a sip. Having spent hours there without food or water, especially in her condition, she was beginning to feel weak. However, she didn't tell anyone, nor did she show it. She concealed her discomfort and continued acting normally.
On the other side of the hall, Venessa had just appeared. She was thinking of a way to approach Tara and stage an accident that would cause Tara to fall hard enough for her to see what would happen. Soon, an opportunity presented itself.
A waiter carrying a tray of drinks was walking toward Tara's group. Tara's back was facing the approaching waiter.
Before Venessa knew it, she was already moving.
She walked quickly toward the waiter and, once she was close enough to push the waiter toward Tara without drawing suspicion, she shoved him.
