At least two people remained on the yacht at all times to look out for each other, while the rest rested in Zenith's Overworld to adjust their condition.
If you ignored the monsters that spawned at night, the scenery in the Overworld was actually quite decent.
Zenith had built his base in a plains biome. About a kilometer away was an oak forest. There were rivers and streams, and looking far into the distance, one could see high mountains and ravines.
He had put a lot of effort into finding such a place at the beginning, but unfortunately, he got lazy later on.
The "Open to LAN" world was still running. With the JoJo universe acting as a reassuring safety net, Zenith decided to start collecting all the biomes and mobs in Minecraft near his base.
Wonders!!! Although he wasn't a builder-type player, Zenith's soul for creating wonders had begun to burn fiercely.
Outside the portal, Kakyoin walked in. "An unexpected event has occurred. It seems we've made landfall early!"
Based on their normal cruising speed, they should still be right in the middle of the South China Sea.
Zenith had a guess. In the original story, this was when they should encounter the Stand user of the Strength card, but wasn't the thing that monkey or orangutan transformed just a ship?
The Stand Strength. Its ability was material assimilation. It manifested by taking even a dilapidated wooden boat and making it take on the form of a massive oil tanker.
"Mr. Zenith, use your invincible timeline observation ability to check the identity of the next Stand user!"
Avdol spoke up. Zenith was a bit unsure. "Uh, it might be a monkey."
A monkey it was, then. No one could make heads or tails of it, so it was better to just go up and take a look.
The so-called early landfall was actually them discovering a small island with its own dock in the middle of the boundless sea.
It seemed to be completely abandoned. Buildings resembling a castle could be seen on the island, along with a village surrounding it.
"I just feel like this place is a bit scary."
The one speaking was Holly. Leaving a teammate alone on the ship was not something this group of smart people would do.
The sun began to set, dyeing the village in a dusky yellow. "It's a perfect shooting location for a horror movie. The kind where Mrs. Holly runs in front and then suddenly trips over flat ground."
Joseph and Jotaro glared at him, but Zenith pretended not to notice.
"The area isn't small. Should we split up to explore?"
The main group now consisted of seven people. Polnareff suggested that he, Avdol, and Kakyoin head east to explore around the island, while the others head west, eventually meeting up on the south side of the island.
Polpol was going to get beaten up. Zenith was absolutely certain of it. Splitting the party in this kind of situation would inevitably result in Polpol's Not-So-Bizarre Adventure.
Watching the three walk away, Zenith felt like he was watching heroes march off to their doom. He looked back every few steps until they disappeared around the corner.
Jotaro's style was very wild. With one hand in his pocket, he would absolutely use his foot to open a door instead of his hand if he could. In such a suspicious place, he looked like he was itching to "Ora!" every single house.
Joseph squatted on the ground, fiddling with a wooden puppet in his hands. "Maybe this used to be some kind of resort. Look, there are even tourist souvenirs."
It looked very familiar.
Zenith picked the puppet up by its arm. "I feel like I've seen this somewhere before, but I can't remember. Let's just have Jotaro Ora it and see."
The Stand user hiding underground was about to cry. *'It's just a puppet, is that really necessary?!'*
Possessing puppets and controlling them to fight—that was his Stand. It lacked immense destructive power, relying instead on terrain and intellect to do battle.
Releasing his possession, he decided to look for a more suitable opportunity. However, the Stand represented by the Strength card was so powerful, he really couldn't imagine how they could possibly lose.
The Stand user felt that victory was already in his grasp. The orangutan's Stand was invincible.
Taking the puppet, Jotaro looked it up and down. While muttering not to order him around, he still gave the puppet a punch.
"Speaking of which, there are a lot of different types of puppets and dolls in this place."
There really were a lot. Aside from the common wooden dolls, there were also many life-sized white mannequins. Their joints were flexible and movable, and their facial features were carved so vividly that they gave off a creepy vibe at first glance.
As Joseph voiced his observation, he subconsciously stepped in front of Holly to shield her.
"I'm completely fine, I'm not scared at all."
Holly hugged Jotaro's arm. "Of course, if Jotaro could comfort me a little, I'd be even less scared."
Hard to judge. Zenith chose to look away. Holly's radiant maternal love was far too overpowering; it was so blinding that he had to grit his teeth and squeeze his eyes shut.
"Ora!!"
Jotaro summoned Star Platinum and threw a punch. Of course, he wasn't hitting his mom, but rather a house that had suddenly collapsed.
As if suffering from years of disrepair, the pillars supporting the roof suddenly snapped, sending the wooden roof and tiles pouring down all at once.
"It's the orangutan!"
Zenith finally remembered. He briefly explained the ability of the Strength card's Stand, then said, "If this entire island is constructed from a Stand ability, then the scale is way too exaggerated. We have to find the main body of that orangutan!"
The difficulty had increased. If they were on the oil tanker from the original timeline, finding that orangutan would be easy. But trying to lock onto the enemy's position on an island this big was too hard.
Use TNT? No, he didn't have enough. The little bit of TNT he brought was just a drop in the bucket against a chunk this massive. It would be fine if he knew how to build a Redstone tunnel bore, but the problem was he wasn't a Redstone master; he couldn't handle such complex machinery.
"To the castle!"
Joseph said in a deep voice, "If we have to pick the most suspicious place, it can only be the castle surrounded by all these houses. There will definitely be clues there!"
*'Weren't we supposed to meet up in the south of the island?'* Zenith suppressed his urge to complain. This island really did give off an overly oppressive feeling, and he unconsciously started taking things seriously.
The buildings they passed continuously collapsed, the flying timber and bricks chasing after them as if they had eyes.
Fortunately, it was a false alarm. For Star Platinum, with its double-A in power and speed, these were all trivial matters.
"We actually managed to meet up."
Zenith still couldn't hold back. He looked at Polnareff, feeling very surprised. "We split up, and Polpol is actually completely unharmed. This isn't very JoJo."
"I have no idea what you're talking about." Polnareff pinched his chin. "But it seems we did encounter a suspicious shadow on the way. We chased him all the way here to the castle."
So their next goal was to explore the castle? This island exploration felt just like a linear RPG game.
"Don't believe him! That Polnareff is a fake!"
A stumbling figure covered in blood ran over. "This guy has the ability to transform into other people!"
Two Polnareffs. Did they even need to guess? The one getting beaten up was definitely the real one.
It was just that... things weren't adding up.
Zenith was confused. The Stand user capable of transforming into other people should be Yellow Temperance, who was supposed to be lurking in Singapore.
But judging from all the current signs, the Stand they were facing here should be the one corresponding to the Strength card. Could it be that these Stand user assassins had a change of heart and started working together?
