A thousand years ago in the Pacific ocean, when world war 3 was at its all time high, a time where nuclear bombs was about to be the very last option,
a gigantic tree suddenly grew at the Pacific ocean, followed by the appearance of a unknown continent that encircled the gigantic tree,
The appearance of both the tree and the continent caused an earthquake that could be felt throughout the entire world, as if it was forcibly making the world grow,
causing panic to civilians that thought nuclear bombs were now being used in the war,
The tree almost fully grew just within 5 minutes of its appearance, it reached the end of the atmosphere, each leaf the size of a skyscraper,
Countries nearest to the tree could see it from afar, even those with bad eyesight could see it, in which they decided to take pictures of it and post in social media
But the moment it fully grew, it released a mysterious energy that covered the entire world, the energy was refered to as mana which was familiar to some people,
And the moment some people found out that the tree released mana, and they immediately initiated a mass report to catch the attention of the government,
So that they can report that a massacre might happen to the countries nearest to the tree just like in most stories,
The presidents of said countries near the world tree hearing about the report immediately announced a nation wide emergency to the citizens so that they can get to emergency bunkers,
Luckily the citizens evacuated in time since after a couple minutes, sudden cracks in the air near the world tree and nearby countries can be heared,
The space near the tree and nearby countries began to crack, the surrounding area where the cracks appeared began to be corrupted, giant bug limbs began to come out, then in an instant hundreds of gigantic bugs appeared,
Luckily the military arrived in time, using their stock piled weapons, specially the explosives which coincidentally was the only ones to deal dmg on the bugsters(monsters)
They fought the monters for 3 days and 2 nights, and during that time the military personnels discovered something that would change the world,
Abilities was discovered, and that it's caused by the energy called mana that began to resonate with the personnels near the world tree,
later on they found out the closer you are to the tree starting from the edge, the more mana resonated with you, and the more powerful you got,
But more power doesn't always mean stronger, the people that couldn't handle the too much mana,
they exploded in a matter of minutes, and was used as suicide bombers when they fought the monsters, as their deaths were inevitable,
After weeks of fighting, all the monsters had been exterminated but the the cracks in the fabric of reality stayed,
As if it was a open gate waiting to be closed, when the military realized that they had to send in their personnel inside,
They went and decided to send in only 10 of their best soldiers while attaching a live bodycam, even tho they weren't sure that it would work,
after a few minutes of the personnel going inside, it turned out bodycams did work, and everything that the personnel could see, was seen by the higher-ups outside,
The personnels moved onwards, killing any of the bugsters in their way, after 30-40 minutes they found a room,
A fully defended room, full of bugsters and there was a orb, a orb in the middle of the bugsters, but there was also something besides the orb,
A gigantic bombardier beetle, it had a strong and tough exoskeleton,and a soft underside that was resistant of high temperatures of heat,
But the personnels didn't know that yet, as they immediately went for the weaker bugsters first,
The personnel used their powers in quick succession, and in 10 minutes all that was left was the bombardier and the 10 personnel,
They immediately attacked it with a barrage of explosives to take its attention, but then one of the personnel tried to use hes ice Manipulation to impale the bombardier from below,
But the bombardier reacted far too quickly before he could activate hes power, the bombardier immediately sent a spray of boiled acid to said personnel,
And it wasn't any normal one that was only 212 degrees, what this mutated giant bombardier had was more dangerous,
The bugster could spray 2,750 degrees of boiled acid, enough to vaporize a human bone in a matter of minutes, and before the personnel could react, the acid was already touching him,
His hand was the first to get hit, it got torn off, hes ankles which were also hit started to melt off, he became wobbly and then gradually fell,
And the rest of hes body started to melt, he became a mud of blood and melted remains, nothing solid remained of him, all that was left of him was the bloody mud,
And fortunately one of the personnel that was previously a entomologist remembered something,
He had bug transformtion but he only tried to transform he's body parts, never hes entire body but, today was the day he took that risk and decided to transform into the natural predator of a bombardier which is also a bug, an ant at that,
Former entomologist: "Even tho I won't be able to swarm him as am alone, it will be good enough to hold that bastard down for y'all to kill it" he signals at the others to attack as he transforms
And before the other personnel could ask him what he was about to do, bones cracking could be heard behind them, skin tearing, blood splattering everywhere, and in 10 seconds a giant ant was seen, and a raspy voice can be heard,
Former entomologist: "I'll hold it in place attack, the tip of its abdomen is the weakness and if the abdomen starts to wriggle a bit, back out, it might release boiled acid"
After talking the former entomologist rushed towards the bombardier attacking it and holding its torso with his pinchers,
The remaining personnels seeing this rushed to attack immediately, the bombardier began to whale around,
Some personnel was being sent flying but not killed, and as the former entomologist was about to be sprayed by the bombardier,
A giant paw scratched the bombardiers abdomen, stopping the bombardier from spraying
One of the personnel that saw this immediately looked back to where the paw came from and saw one of them transforming into a giant wolf,
Giant wolf: "HELP HIM HOLD THIS BUG, AM GONNA RIP THIS B##CH TO SHREDS" he yells at them as he rushes to attack
And the remaining personnels that was about to attack hearing him, immediately helps to hold the bombardier in place
And luckily one of the personnel that had a brain, decided to rush towards the orb while the bombardier was being held,
Now Infront of the orb, he planted 5 c4s on the orb then ran back to detonate it, BOOM
The orb exploded, broken into pieces, and it didn't dissipate like a monster when killed, it remained,
The guy who exploded the orb looked back at hes group and saw the bombardier dissipating,
Former entomologist: "Hey good job, you actually thought properly, you can have the credit, you saved us time" he says as he rests a bit in hes new form
Unknown personal: "Yeah no worries, y'all come here get this pieces of the orb, with our info this gate might collapse any minute, we can't waste materials" the guy responds
They immediately help him collect the pieces and get out of the gate, and luckily they left on time, the gate was collapsing and the area that was previously corrupted, became normal, not a spec of the corruption,
They then returned to their post, they rested and got healed, and the two that transformed found something out, they couldn't turn back to their original form, they were stuck as a ant and a wolf,
The others reported face to face since some of the body cams got broken and didn't capture most of the fight
Then everyone in the world heared something in their heads,

We skip by 986 years it's the year 3013, cities had been made on the new continent now called land of compass which mainly had resonators inhabiting the continent,
And together with it the world had achieved world peace, crime rates have went down to 5%, employment was at a all time high, barely any poor family, and new words have been made,
dimensional entryways in short dimentry, that's what they call the gates now, and the pieces of the orbs now are used for weapons which they call oriece which in short is orb piece, because of it they don't need to use explosives now,
they can just place the pieces in weapons and it could hurt the bugsters, the higher grade the pieces were, the stronger and more durable the weapon will become,
The people that had resonated with mana was now called resonaters, and a association was made to manage them which was called the resonaters association, which had three goals,
Protect the people of earth, investigate the world tree, and keep the world peace from breaking
Then on a random day, the world tree shook, something happened, was it a dangerous dimentry?
Yes but it was something else at the same time, another world changing event, the dimentrys that appeared was different, they weren't full of bugsters, it was a full on dimension inside the dimentry, other worlds, real worlds,
9 worlds inside 9 dimentrys, all surrounding the world tree on the edge of it, the resonaters association acting quickly immediately sent high grade resonaters to investigate the dimentrys,
It was a long day, but the information was valuable, the insides was just like earth, it had a world tree, the same 9 dimentrys on the edges, but one thing was different,
The gap of civilizations, one was a medieval dimension,
One was almost as advanced as earth, and one was a world full of mana infused minerals, more pure than the orbs from the dimentrys,
And after that day a leaf of the world tree fell, and it released a shockwave that travelled through the entire world,
Books suddenly opened, flipped through itself, shined and returned to normal, authors that noticed this investigated and went pale, their creations, their characters disappeared from their stories,
Something happened, something too dangerous, the characters became real, real humans, real people, and that's what made them dangerous,
Villains of some stories became real too, dangerous villains, a new threat to the world, the association had a new problem on their hands, characters scattered in the world, and it didn't just effect earth, it affected the other dimensions,
The association then made a urgent announcement, they asked the public for help to gather the characters and named them fractals, fraction of a novel, and added details to differentiate them from the real real humans,
They had off colored hairs, purple, blue, red, and they had way too perfect looking faces, clothes that didn't fit the modern times and unknown languages, and often spoke what they had in mind,
This announcement helped find numerous fractals, but mostly good ones, and only a single villain, which immediately caused chaos the moment it appeared on the world,
The association had a new goal added, find the villains that has appeared in all dimensions, stop them and try to convert them into good people,
We are now in the current year 3027,
we focus our story to 3 characters, named Leif, Reina and Riven, on their way to school
