...
Hearing this, their expressions immediately darkened.
Sanji stepped forward, biting down on his cigarette with his hands in his pockets, and said coldly, "Your demand is a bit too arrogant. We can't comply."
"I can't accept it either. How about we change it to just you going down instead?" Zoro smiled coldly, slowly drawing his longswords.
Faced with their defiance, Enel didn't care in the slightest. He couldn't even be bothered to stand up, merely sneering with disdain in his eyes. "Before witnessing divine might with their own eyes, mortals can never understand why God is great."
"God this, God that. Ever since coming to the Sky Island, I've grown sick of hearing that title." Zoro's eyes darkened. He spread his legs, dropping into a half-crouch, and readied his swords before pushing off the ground and charging forward!
Sanji pulled his hands from his pockets, took the cigarette from his mouth, bent his knees slightly, and leaped high into the air toward Enel.
"Six Fleur: Bind!"
Robin crossed her arms in front of her chest, locking her gaze on Enel. Activating her ability, six arms sprouted from his body and quickly clamped down on his joints.
"Hmm?" Enel half-lowered his eyelids, glancing at the arms that had inexplicably grown on his body. The corners of his mouth curled up in amusement as he shifted his gaze to Robin. "An interesting ability. Is it a Paramecia?"
Bzzzt!
As soon as he spoke, several bolts of electricity suddenly sparked across his body, slithering up those arms like snakes.
"Ugh—!"
The numbing, stinging shock of electricity transferred back to her real body. Robin let out an involuntary groan of pain, cold sweat dripping down her forehead as her maintained ability was dispelled.
The arms on Enel's joints turned into fluttering petals and dissipated.
At that moment, Sanji and Zoro had already reached him!
"Veau Burst!!" Sanji roared, pivoting on his toes to spin his body, and unleashed a fierce back kick aimed straight at Enel's head!
"Two-Sword Style: Hawk Wave!!" A cold glint flashed as Zoro slashed his two swords in parallel. The horizontal cut, however, passed straight through Enel's chest!
Sanji's kick met the same fate. His leg sank directly into Enel's head as if striking a pool of liquid lightning, sending a numbing, stinging sensation up his limb.
"What's going on?!"
"Could it be... a Logia?!"
Realizing the truth, Sanji and Zoro's expressions suddenly changed, their pupils shrinking in shock.
"Hehehe, it seems you have some knowledge."
Crackle.
A sinister smile appeared on Enel's face. He raised one hand to grab Sanji's leg, while simultaneously extending his golden staff to press the end against the airborne Zoro's abdomen.
"Fifty Million Volts: Discharge!!"
"Crap!"
Under their terrified gazes, blinding lightning suddenly erupted!
Bzzzaaat—!!
"Aaaargh!!"
Agonized howls echoed from within the violent lightning as the two were electrocuted so severely that their skeletons flashed visibly through their skin!
"Sanji!!"
"Zoro!!"
Seeing this, Robin and Vivi cried out in panic.
Soon, the lightning dimmed, revealing Sanji and Zoro's charred bodies. Wisps of white smoke rose from their forms as they weakly collapsed to the ground.
Enel remained expressionless, as if he hadn't taken the two seriously at all. He shifted his gaze to the remaining duo, Robin and Vivi.
Bzzzt!
Suddenly, arcs of electricity flashed. Enel vanished from his spot and instantly appeared behind them, looking down at them with cold indifference. "Forty seconds left. Will one of you challenge me and fall, or will you slaughter each other for a chance to survive?"
Hearing his voice, Robin and Vivi whipped around. Seeing Enel, the two hurriedly leaped back in panic.
"Sixteen Fleur!!"
"Peacock Slasher!!"
Robin crossed her arms over her chest, shouting as she activated her ability once more.
However, with a mere thought from Enel, his body was covered in countless violent electrical currents. The moment the arms sprouted, they were electrocuted into petals and dissipated.
Vivi leaped high into the air, her pinky finger hooked onto a peacock ring whip made of emerald circular blades. She spun it a few times before lashing it down at Enel!
"Peacock Slasher!!"
Swish!
The peacock feather-like circular blades passed right through his body. Enel's gaze remained completely unfazed. He raised his arm, arcs of electricity wrapping around his fingertips, and said indifferently, "Just meaningless resistance. Tell me, are you truly considering God's words? Thirty seconds left."
With that, the electrical arcs on his fingertips brightened, the terrifying power contained within them enough to make one's heart palpitate.
Just then, a loud shout suddenly rang out from the distance.
"Enel—!!"
"Hmm?"
Hearing the voice, Enel half-squinted and slowly shifted his eyes. Although he couldn't see anyone, he could sense someone approaching at an absurdly fast speed.
Sure enough, in the next second, a figure appeared in the ruins.
"Prepare to go to hell, you bastard!" Allen's eyes shone with a fierce glint. Wearing a savage grin, he dove forward, practically flying inches above the ground!
"It seems a stronger one has arrived. But a slightly larger ant is still just an ant in the end." Enel turned around to face the rapidly charging Allen, sneering with disdainful eyes. "Before God, everyone is..."
Whoosh!
Before he could finish his sentence, Allen's figure blurred, instantly appearing right in front of him. He wound up his fist and smashed it ruthlessly into Enel's face!
Bam!!!
"Blergh—!!"
Enel spat out a mouthful of blood. His face twisted in pain, and his eyes widened in furious disbelief.
"How... is this possible...?!"
"He hit him...!!"
In the back, Vivi's pupils dilated and her mouth fell open, her heart filled with unparalleled shock.
*Isn't he a Logia user? How could he be hit barehanded?!*
"Die!!" Allen roared with a ferocious expression, veins bulging on his arm muscles as his fist pushed against Enel's face with renewed force!
Bang! Bang!—Bang!!
Enel's body was sent flying on the spot, shooting backward over a hundred meters like a cannonball. He crashed through several broken walls before slamming heavily into a moss-covered stone house!
In an instant, rubble scattered across the ruins, and billowing dust clouds filled the air.
"Allen..." Robin parted her lips slightly, looking at Allen's back. She wanted to warn him that their opponent was a Logia user, but the words caught in her throat.
Remembering his previous battle with Crocodile, she realized such a warning was likely unnecessary.
"Phew—!"
Allen exhaled a breath of stale air, retracting his fist and standing up straight. He slowly steadied his breathing, then turned to look at Robin. "Sorry I'm late. Catching up to this guy was a bit of a hassle. Are you alright?"
"I'm fine, but Sanji..." Robin nodded gently, her gaze heavy as she looked at Sanji lying on the ground in the distance.
Allen followed her gaze and said in a deep voice, "Go check on them. Leave this place to me."
"Alright. His ability is a Logia type, so be careful." Robin nodded in agreement, then led Vivi over to check on Sanji and Zoro's injuries.
Allen turned back around, his eyes fixed on the pervasive dust cloud. Sweeping the area with his Observation Haki, he could clearly sense that Enel's presence was still inside.
"Fifty Million Volts: Thunder Ball!!"
Whoosh!
Accompanied by a loud shout, a massive sphere of lightning suddenly flew out from the dust. The sphere was wrapped in electrical arcs, shooting toward Allen at an incredible speed.
Facing this lightning sphere—nearly two meters in diameter and brimming with terrifying energy—Allen raised an arm. Armament Haki spread from his arm to his five fingers like black water.
Bam!!
The lightning sphere slammed into his palm and came to an abrupt halt, completely blocked by his Haki and unable to advance a single inch.
Allen's eyes darkened. He swung his arm to the side, swatting the energy sphere away. It landed in an empty clearing and exploded violently!
BOOM!!
Blazing lightning bloomed, illuminating the entire area for a split second before slowly dimming, leaving behind a ground full of scorched, smoking stone bricks.
The dust gradually settled, and a figure walked out from within.
Enel looked disheveled, blood trickling from the corner of his mouth. He glared at Allen with a dark, furious expression. "To actually catch my Thunder Ball and strike God's body... what kind of trick did you use, you bastard?!"
Allen raised his fist, a playful smirk spreading across his face as he replied, "Because my fist is full of love, idiot."
