Allen walked over to Sanji and the others, found a random rock nearby to sit on, lit a cigar, and clamped it between his teeth as he fell into thought.
Regarding the development of the Rumble-Rumble Fruit, he didn't actually think Enel had done a very good job. Only his use of electromagnetic waves to expand the range of his Observation Haki was praiseworthy; the rest of his applications were completely underwhelming.
Even his strongest move, Raigo, merely relied on the Ark Maxim to generate thunderclouds, which his ability then barely managed to control.
The development of his ability's upper limits was an even bigger mess. Natural lightning could reach anywhere from one hundred million to one billion volts, yet the maximum Enel could release was only two hundred million volts.
Let alone comparing him to the three Marine Admirals, Allen felt that Enel wasn't even on par with the Sand Crocodile. While his overall strength wasn't bad, eighty percent of it was built purely on the fact that the Rumble-Rumble Fruit was inherently overpowered.
*It's probably because there are no strong fighters on Sky Island,* Allen thought to himself, pulling back his wandering mind and glancing to the side. *Enel's level of strength is already enough to crush everyone here. In such a comfortable environment, any potential he might have had couldn't possibly be squeezed out.*
Sanji and Zoro were already awake, resting as they sat on the ground with their backs against a wall.
"To think he's a Logia user just like that smoke guy. I wonder how Luffy and the others are doing. If they run into that bastard..." Zoro wore a dark expression, his hand unconsciously tightening around his sword hilt, his eyes revealing a hint of worry.
Allen glanced at him and said calmly, "They're fine. Enel only went to my subordinates' side before coming here to yours."
"Really?" Hearing this, Vivi couldn't help but perk up. She breathed a sigh of relief, clutching her chest as she sighed in comfort. "That's wonderful. I was so worried something had happened to them."
Allen was speechless. "What's wonderful about it? So my subordinates just deserve to be unlucky, huh?"
"Ah! No, no, no, that's not what I meant!" Vivi froze in panic, shaking her head and waving her hands in a fluster to apologize.
Nearby, Zoro used his sword against the ground to prop himself up with difficulty. He looked at Allen and said, "Anyway, thanks for this time. I owe you a favor."
"Hey! Why do you only owe him a favor? What about me?!" Sanji yelled from behind in dissatisfaction.
Zoro completely ignored him, simply stating expressionlessly to Allen, "I don't like owing people. I'll pay you back next time."
"No need," Allen replied dismissively.
Zoro was taking on this favor on Vivi's behalf. Allen hadn't come to save her anyway, so there was no favor to speak of, nor did he need them to pay anything back.
Zoro gave him one last look, said no more, and turned to call Vivi so they could leave and regroup with Luffy and the others.
Robin leaned against a broken wall, standing silently in the corner, her gaze thoughtful.
Setting off in the morning, riding the dangerous Knock Up Stream into the sky, arriving at Angel Island from the White Sea, staying for less than two hours before coming to Upper Yard to find the City of Gold. Encountering the Divine Militia in the forest, entering God's Ordeals and discovering the ruins, defeating the Priest, and finally, Enel's overwhelming entrance. In their moment of crisis, Allen had arrived and beaten the man into retreating.
In just half a day, looking back, so much had already happened. She had never experienced, or even imagined, such a novel adventure.
...
The sun gradually sank, leaving only a trace of afterglow in the sky.
Because they were above the clouds, the days on Sky Island were short. It was only five o'clock, but the sun was already setting in the west.
"Allen!"
A voice suddenly called out from afar. Allen and the others looked toward the sound.
Nami's figure appeared in the ruins, her back to the setting sun, running toward them in a panic.
"Robin...! Sanji...!"
Arriving in front of them, Nami bent over, looking completely exhausted. With her hands resting on her knees, she panted heavily and asked, "Are you all okay? The doctor... the doctor is already on his way."
"Rest assured, Nami-san, I'm perfectly fine. Don't worry."
"Yes, fortunately Allen arrived in time. I wasn't hurt."
Sanji and Robin replied respectively.
Allen snuffed out his half-smoked cigar, looked up at her, and asked, "How are Gin and the others?"
"The doctor checked them. Severe burns on their skin and minor internal burns. Fortunately, their lives aren't in danger. The doctor has already treated their wounds," Nami answered, her tone relieved, before walking over to sit on a rock opposite him.
Allen asked again, "I sensed a few presences appear near you earlier. Did something happen?"
"Yeah, it was a few guys calling themselves Shandians. They seemed to be here to take down Enel, but they ended up fighting Luffy and the others," Nami explained.
"Is that so... That idiot really fights wherever he goes," Allen remarked casually.
"Speaking of which, where did that guy named Enel go?" Nami turned her head, looking around. She only saw the fallen Priest Ohm and asked in confusion, "Has he already been defeated by you?"
Allen: "..."
"No, Enel ran away," Allen replied, pointing up at the giant vine.
Nami's gaze followed his finger, slowly moving up the Giant Jack.
Amidst a cluster of clouds attached to a massive green leaf, the silhouette of a ship was slowly flying out.
"A... a flying ship?" Nami's expression froze in shock.
"It's finally out, huh..." Allen slowly looked up, gazing at the massive ship flying in the sky. Enel stood at the edge of the ship, looking down at them with a mocking expression.
At the top of the Ark Maxim, a giant golden chimney continuously spewed black clouds, which floated up into the sky cluster by cluster.
Meeting Enel's gaze in the sky, Allen stood up, stretching his limbs to warm up.
"Hm? What is this guy trying to do?" Seeing his movements, Enel, standing on the edge of the Ark Maxim in the sky, frowned. Then, his expression turned to ridicule, a cold smirk forming on his lips. "Heh, idiot. Don't tell me you can actually fly up here..."
As soon as he finished speaking.
The next second, he saw Allen crouch down below, kick off the ground, and shoot into the sky. Then, stepping on the air itself, he rapidly charged toward him step by step!
"He can actually fly up here!!"
Seeing this, Enel's eyes bulged in terror, his jaw dropping so wide it hit the edge of the ship.
You've got to be kidding me! What kind of ridiculous technique was stepping on the air to fly into the sky?!
"Damn it! You bastard, why won't you just leave me alone?!" Enel's face twisted in anger, clenching his jaw so hard his back teeth nearly shattered.
Seeing Allen's figure constantly closing in, he hurriedly unleashed his lightning at full power. His body turned blue-white, completely merging with the lightning, rapidly expanding into a glaring, lightning-wreathed Vajra.
"Two Hundred Million Volts: Thunder God!!"
Enel roared with a ferocious glare. He arched his arms at his sides, raising his palms toward Allen. Behind him coiled four vicious lightning dragons formed from condensed energy.
Under his control, the four lightning dragons opened their terrifying maws, rapidly condensing spheres of lightning within them.
Allen's eyes were calm, his gaze locked onto Enel's movements. The oncoming gale whipped his black hair into a wild frenzy.
The next second.
The lightning in Enel's palms condensed into a sphere, and he thrust it downward. The lightning sphere transformed into a thick beam of light and fired instantly!
"Thunder God: Judgment!!"
With a furious roar, the lightning spheres in the mouths of the four lightning dragons erupted simultaneously. Five pillars of lightning pierced the sky, shooting down from all directions at once!!
Facing this incredibly fast and powerful attack, Allen quickly exhaled, closed his eyes, and began to relax his body.
The Demon Brain injected consciousness into every inch of his muscles. Suddenly, his body seemed to turn into liquid, softening to the absolute limit.
When the five pillars of lightning arrived before him, about to mercilessly swallow his body.
Allen suddenly opened his eyes, locked onto a breakthrough point among the multiple attacks, and erupted all his power beneath his feet!
"Shaori・Moonwalk!!"
Bang!!
The air beneath his feet exploded with shockwaves from breaking the sound barrier! Allen's figure accelerated to the limit, instantly piercing through the blockade of lightning, shooting straight up like an arrow!
"What!"
Enel's pupils shrank to pinpricks. For a brief moment, his Mantra even lost its perception of Allen!
By the time he recaptured his position, Allen had already arrived in front of him, violently slamming into him in a diving tackle!
Bang!!
"Puh-gah——!!"
Enel spat out blood with an agonized expression. His body doubled over as he was sent flying, skimming across the deck and violently smashing into the opposite edge of the ship. The thick, gold-plated railing caved in, forming a deep crater.
Allen lowered his posture, hands pressing against the wooden deck, arching his back into a sprinting stance. His cold gaze locked onto his target, and with power gathered in his legs, he dashed forward!
Before Enel could even recover from the dizziness, Allen's diving tackle violently slammed into him once again!
Bang!!
The entire section of the ship's rail exploded on the spot, sending wood splinters and blood spray flying.
Enel's eyes trembled violently. He felt as if his soul was about to be knocked out of his body, and even the lightning flashing across his skin dimmed significantly.
Allen puffed out his chest, took a deep breath, and swung his arms back, frantically channeling Armament Haki to coat his wrists!
The Sonic Punch, which gained continuous striking capability after merging with Shaori—the ultimate killing move capable of shattering an opponent's soul!
"Sonic Soul Burst!!"
Allen roared ferociously! His fists unleashed a continuous barrage in an instant, moving so fast they created the illusion of ten arms!
BOOM!!!
A majestic shockwave exploded in the air! The sonic booms were deafening. Almost simultaneously, ten explosive fists ruthlessly smashed into Enel's body!
BANG!!!
"Puh-gah——!!"
Enel opened his mouth and spewed a geyser of blood! His bloodshot eyes bulged as if they were about to tear apart. His body was blasted away, crashing heavily into the Giant Jack!
Under the terrifying impact, the vine, which was dozens of meters thick, exploded and snapped on the spot. The section towering into the clouds slowly began to topple.
Rumble!!
Losing the power supplied by Enel's lightning, the machinery inside the Ark Maxim abruptly stopped. The entire airship shuddered before beginning to plummet toward the forest below.
On the deck, Allen steadied himself, his gaze fixed on the toppling vine in the distance. Enel, battered beyond recognition and his limbs twisted into an inhuman shape, plummeted toward the earth along with that section of the vine.
In his perception, Enel's presence had completely extinguished.
