Timothy York didn't answer right away.
Instead, the car suddenly veered slightly and pulled over to the side of the road.
Summer Thorne turned to him, a little confused. "What's wrong?"
Timothy York was quiet for a moment before asking, "Is that a request, or something else?"
'Something else?'
'A confession?'
The confusion in Summer Thorne's eyes was a little too clear, her act of playing dumb a bit too obvious. "Is there a difference?"
"There is." Timothy York wasn't fooled, stubbornly waiting for her answer.
Summer Thorne bit her lip. 'I know what answer he wants, but how can I just say those words so easily?'
On the deserted road in the early morning, inside the quiet car, the two of them looked at each other for a long time. Finally, Summer Thorne leaned forward and initiated a kiss on the corner of his lips.
