Timothy York left Kingscrest and soon returned to Stillwater.
The living room was quiet. Yara Keats was nowhere to be seen.
Timothy York quickly made his way to the guest room door and knocked gently.
There was no response from inside.
Timothy York tried pushing the door open and immediately saw Yara Keats lying on the bed.
'She seems to be in a deep sleep. Otherwise, why wouldn't she have responded to my knock?'
Timothy York strode forward and placed his hand on Yara Keats's forehead.
But when he touched it, her temperature didn't seem abnormal. A glance to the side revealed no thermometer.
Just then, as if only now sensing his presence, Yara Keats opened her eyes. She feigned a startled look before patting her chest lightly. "Oh, it's you..."
Timothy York glanced down at her, said nothing, and turned to leave the room.
A moment later, he returned with a temperature gun and measured the temperature of her forehead and ear.
