「The Thorne Estate」
There was a fixed seating order at the dining table, but this was Zoe Monroe's first visit to the Thorne family, so she had no idea. When Kiara Sutton pulled her into a seat, she didn't think much of it.
"Please, make yourself at home. We're all family. I'm just not sure what you like to eat." The Thorne matriarch had always been a kind person.
"Thank you, Grandma." Zoe Monroe used the same form of address as her sister.
Mr. Thorne and Cameron Thorne were both serious men of few words. Joyce Monroe had already told her in private not to be afraid; that's just how they were, not the type to intentionally give someone the cold shoulder.
Zoe Monroe found it rather nice.
'Good people, not too talkative.'
'Unlike at my house, where my father and brother are constantly staging some "loving father, filial son" drama, throwing everything into chaos. I can't even practice the piano in peace. A family like the Thornes is actually wonderful.'
