Standing in the corner, the completely ignored Soros silently raised his hand, blinking innocently with an expression that begged to be let off the hook.
"No, you have to return to Sky Shining Star with us." Before Liang He could speak, Hoder answered Soros's unspoken question.
Hearing this, Soros nearly burst into tears of anxiety. Red-eyed, he pleaded with Hoder. "Please don't! Didn't we agree that once I helped Liang He trick the Rebel Army, we would let bygones be bygones?"
Soros was now filled with crushing regret. If he had known this would happen, he would never have accepted this mission, no matter how high a price Valken offered!
"Stop! Why is a grown man like you blubbering? Isn't it disgusting?" Hoder snapped.
"Grown women don't like blubbering either." Annoyed by Hoder's remark, Liang He suddenly retorted.
Hoder hastily apologized. "Liang He, please don't misunderstand. We never discriminate against women. It was just a slip of the tongue..."
