Chapter 2 - The Dragon Crystal Test

After that, Makira got rid of the beast, and she asked him why it was chasing him.

"I was picking some herbs to make a training potion when suddenly a beast appeared and tried to kill me," Kikimura replied while catching his breath.

"Ah, I see. Well, I can't do anything about your weakness." Makira replied.

"Hehe" He. Scratched his head, feeling embarrassed.

"Here! The professor asked me to give you this paper. Read it carefully. You have to come tomorrow. It seems tomorrow's class will be important."

"Don't skip again "

She left the paper on the ground and turned away.

Kikimura picked up the paper. Started looking at it. Then he screamed like a madman: "Ahhh, no matter what I do, no matter how much I train or how many potions I take. Why can't I become stronger?"

The Next Day in Class:

"Please pay attention. Today's lesson will help you choose the specialty that suits you best."

There are two types of energy in the body: Magic and Ki.

Magic is what helps you cast spells, summon beasts and use nature elements like:

- Water

- Fire

- Earth

- Wind

- Lightning

Each person is compatible with one, two or even three types. Some can be compatible with four types. But as I know, no one has been compatible with all five.

There are multiple ways to determine which elements you are compatible with, and the most famous one is the "Dragon Crystal".

There is also Ki, which is the spiritual energy in the body. It differs from person to person. And mostly used in physical attacks.

Everyone has this energy as it moves and protects the body.

The professor said, "Now that you've learned the basics, your graduation test will be the crystal." He pulled out a white, transparent crystal from his bag.

"Me first, me first!" one student jumped from his seat to be tested first.

"Alright, place your hand on the crystal", the professor said.

The child placed his hand on the crystal, which was so clear it looked transparent.

The students gasped when they saw a green color forming on the crystal.

"It appears your specialty is Earth ", the professor said after confirming the color.

The student returned to his seat.

Then the others went in order of their seats to determine their element. Some got the Water element, others Lightning, as well as Earth and Wind and some Fire. However, no one controlled two or more types.

Makira stepped forward. The students cheered since she was the strongest in the class. She placed her hand on the crystal.

And the surprise, three colors formed: red, green and yellow. The two were shiny, while Red seemed more dominant.

The professor said, "As expected from Makira, you control three elements: Fire, Earth and Wind. But Fire is most compatible with you, so I ask that you focus your training on Fire more than the other two elements."

"Who's next?" said the professor.

Everyone looked at Kikimura, whose face showed tension.

He stood up, walked toward the professor, and placed his hand on the crystal, waiting to see which type was compatible with him. He closed his eyes. Silently wished:

I hope I get the Fire element like Makira. That element seems powerful.

But it seemed that no color was showing.

The students burst into laughter, mocking him.

The professor looked confused and said "It seems you don't match any of the five element specialties. But don't be discouraged. You can focus on Ki energy afterwards to become stronger physically."

Kikimura fell to his knees. "What? Am I that weak?" he said. "Why am I the one who didn't get any element? Did I do something to suffer like this?" He thought to himself, feeling sorrow. It was clear which side he was on.

He was compatible with no element. His strength was so weak that it couldn't compare to children his age or even younger ones. What about Makira, who obtained three elements? Feelings of envy and hatred began to lurk in Kikimura's heart. The mocking laughter of the students and the professor's pitying looks made him unbearable. He left the class crying, leaving behind the student's laughter.

Meanwhile, the professor remained still in his place, and Makira, who couldn't leave that atmosphere, which made her appear as the queen of the students.

Kikimura never returned to school until the time came for the student's graduation.

He climbed a tree to watch without anyone noticing him. He wasn't invited since he didn't graduate.
