Chapter 2 - Truce

Chapter 2

Stefan's P.O.V

Flashback

The throne room was silent when I entered. Dozens of nobles stood waiting, expressions hard as rock. I walked with calm authority towards the throne at the far end of the hall. I took a seat and the whispers began.

"*Your Majesty*Lord Halvar spoke bowing slightly. Your recent decision isn't one to be accepted easily. I've already given up searching and besides, the truce i accepted is to end the war. The lives of our people matter". He gave me a hard glare through the mirror and I ignored him and continued reading. "Enough you can leave"I told the maids and they quickly left. I stood up and stepped out walking towards my carriage. Axel with few guards followed behind....
