On the road, two people were fighting and a crowd had gathered.
They were arguing because their cars had crashed into each other.
As the chaos grew, a young man — around 23 or 24 — stepped in. His name was Hridyansh.
"Don't argue," he said calmly. "You both suffered a loss, and it's obvious that mistakes were made on both sides. So, stop blaming and start accepting."
He added, "What will you gain from fighting? Nothing. So, why waste your time—and everyone else's? It's better to be cautious next time."
Though one man responded rudely, the rest of the crowd sided with Hridyansh, asking them to calm down.
Suddenly, a voice came from behind:
"You handled that pretty well."
He turned—and there she was.
A beautiful, stylish girl in a red one-piece dress, sunglasses perched on her head, her smile graceful yet bold.
She asked again, "What's your name?"
"I'm Hridyansh," he replied with a soft nod.
"I'm Isha," she said with a smile.
She seemed like she wanted to say something more, but Hridyansh turned to start his bike.
His friend sitting behind leaned forward and said,
"You know who she is? That's Isha Singhania—daughter of the richest businessman in the state, Mr. Rudra Singhania."
Hridyansh was just a middle-class college student.
He took tuition classes in the evenings to support his family and pay his college fees.
He was also preparing for the UPSC exam.
He was brilliant in studies and taught students from classes 9 to 12.
Now in his final year, he was determined to clear UPSC this year.
On the other hand, Isha was born with a silver spoon.
From childhood, she had received everything—luxury, glamour, and attention.
This made her a little stubborn and headstrong.
But ever since she saw Hridyansh, she couldn't stop thinking about him.
Something about his calmness and confidence struck her.
However, Hridyansh had already given his heart to Sameeksha—his college friend, his constant, his heartbeat.
A simple girl with a golden heart—Sameeksha never demanded expensive gifts, only his time and love.
Some days passed.
The time came for the Annual College Fest.
Many guests were invited, including the chief donor, Mr. Rudra Singhania—along with his daughter, Isha.
Hridyansh was unaware of their arrival. He was busy organizing the event.
Isha sat on stage beside her father. Suddenly, Hridyansh walked onto the stage for anchoring.
His eyes scanned the stage.
He noticed a familiar face waving at him.
He nodded, confused, thinking, "Where have I seen her before?"
Then he read her name: Ms. Isha Singhania.
It clicked.
After the event, Isha came backstage.
"Wow, Hridyansh. You're an amazing anchor. I'm impressed!"
"I didn't know you were studying in this college," she added.
Just then, Sameeksha arrived, calling out,
"Hey Hridyansh! Come fast! We're taking a group photo."
Isha smiled and said, "Sure, go ahead."
Later that night, Hridyansh received a surprising call.
"I'm Rudra. Rudra Singhania. I need a host to represent my company, and I saw you yesterday. Can you come to my office at 1 PM today?"
At the office, Hridyansh met the manager.
The manager confirmed with Mr. Singhania and asked him to wait.
Mr. Rudra welcomed him.
"Have a seat, Mr. Hridyansh... What's your full name?"
"Hridyansh Mishra," he said.
Mr. Singhania added, " I have seen you yesterday you have great potential and I want you to be the host of my company's event Tommorow".
Hridyansh with a shine in his eyes replied, " Why not sir, it's a great opportunity thanks sir".
Mr. Rudra with a attitude said, " let's see how a middle class boy can do in a event full of High class people and ministers ".
Hridyansh, though aware of the class difference, responded confidently,
"Why not, sir? I believe potential doesn't see class. I will try my best".
"Don't try," Mr. Rudra said firmly.
"Do your best."
"I will, sir," Hridyansh replied.
As Hridyansh stepped outside the office, a black BMW stopped in front of him.
The door opened—and Isha stepped out.
"Congratulations, Hridyansh," she smiled.
Hridyansh said ,"how did you know about this?"
Isha replied,"Because I asked my father to notice your potential and give you this opportunity."
Hridyansh looked disappointed.
"So this opportunity… was it really because of my potential? Or just your influence?"
"Why do you want your father to notice me?" he asked.
Isha paused.
"Nothing like that. I saw something in you. I only asked him to consider you."
"I can't accept this," Hridyansh said.
"Stop," Isha replied. "My father saw your strength—that's why he offered you this. Don't take it as sympathy. It's a real opportunity."
Hridyansh with a faded face,"But I need time to think".
She smiled, "But think properly."
He returned home with a clouded mind and called Sameeksha, telling her everything.
Sameeksha said softly,
"I don't know why Isha did that… but I believe Mr. Singhania isn't someone who gives away opportunities without reason. He must've seen something in you."
She added,
"Competitions are tough, and skills often go unseen behind the curtain of money. This is your time to prove your worth."
Hridyansh smiled and said,"I think you are right sameeksha I will definitely do it."
"That's like my boy," Sameeksha said, but her heart… wasn't at peace.
She thought, "Isha is rich, beautiful, and classy. She could replace me."
But then she reminded herself, "No. Maybe she just wants real talent to shine. My Hridyansh can't leave me."
Hridyansh too was struggling with thoughts.
"I just want to prove what a middle-class boy can do."
But even Isha was confused:
"Do I really like Hridyansh, or is it something else?"
Three hearts.
Three confusions.
Three uncomfortable truths.
The next day, the big presentation at the Singhania Mansion.
Isha walked in, wearing a beautiful white dress—like a princess.
She walked to Hridyansh.
"All the best. Do your best," she said with a soft smile.
Hridyansh couldn't take his eyes off her—until the image of Sameeksha's innocent face flashed in his mind.
"Thank you," he replied and went back to reading his notes.
The event began.
Isha sat beside her father on a luxury chair.
Hridyansh started speaking—and stunned the crowd with his charisma and confidence.
Isha was feeling proud.
A short break was announced.
As Isha stood, her heel caught in her dress and she tripped.
Her father was away attending a meeting with a minister.
Hridyansh rushed forward and caught her in his arms.
Isha blushed and said," Thanks Hridyansh for saving me from a fall."
Hridyansh with a real concern,"Are you ok Isha."
She said,"yes"
Then Hridyansh went back to the stage.
She turned around to glance at Hridyansh—standing like a gentleman, brushing a strand of hair from his forehead.
He looked charming.
The event resumed.
Isha couldn't stop watching him.
Meanwhile, Sameeksha eagerly waited for his 5 PM call.
After the event, Mr. Rudra praised Hridyansh.
Isha also came and said,
"You were outstanding. I knew you'd be great—but this… this was beyond expectations."
But a call interrupts in between.
It was Sameeksha.
Hridyansh took the call.
Sameeksha asked about the event.
Hridyansh told Sameeksha everything.
She praised him:
"Well done, baby."
But when Hridyansh said "thanks," his eyes drifted back… toward Isha.
Later, Hridyansh left for home.
So did Isha.
But the smile on her face… was now gone.
That night, Sameeksha called again.
Hridyansh replied cheerfully.
But when she asked about Isha… he tried to change the topic.
Sameeksha replied with a calm voice, " Don't get tensed Hridyansh I was just asking. You know I trust you."
"I'm not tense," he lied.
"She didn't even talk to me properly."
But deep inside…
Hridyansh wondered,
"Why did I lie to Sameeksha? Is there… something in my heart for Isha?"
The next morning, Mr. Rudra called Hridyansh to his mansion to hand over the payment.
"Thank you, sir," Hridyansh said.
Mr. Rudra smiled.
"I want you to join my company."
Hridyansh with a excited voice said, "really sir? I will really be grateful"
Mr. Rudra said ,"yes, you will be joining as a junior executive in my company."
A voice came from behind," Congratulations Hridyansh". It was Isha in a royal blue suit.
As Hridyansh stood stunned watching her not because of love but because of confusion in his heart.
He said," Thanks ma'am".
Isha smiled and said,
"No need for formalities. You can call me Isha."
"You'll join from tomorrow," Mr. Rudra added.
That evening, Hridyansh excitedly told Sameeksha,
"Yeah baby, I got a job! As a junior executive in Mr. Rudra's company!"
Meanwhile, Isha sent him a message.
It was the first time she texted him.
He asked, "How did you get my number?"
She replied, "From daddy, obviously."
He said, "Thanks Isha… I got this opportunity because of you."
But on the other end…
Sameeksha was still waiting for a reply that never came.
She called.
Hridyansh answered,
"Baby, I'm busy. I'll call you later."
He didn't even ask what she wanted to say.
And again… he went back to chatting with Isha.
Later that night, Sameeksha sat by the window,
her phone on silent, notifications off—
but her heart? Loud with questions she couldn't silence.
"Is this how love fades?" she thought.
And somewhere else, Hridyansh laughed at a message Isha just sent—
unaware of the crack forming in the world he promised would never break.
As Hridyansh stands at the gates of Singhania Industries, dressed sharp, eyes full of dreams—
his phone buzzes. It's a message from Sameeksha:
"All the best, my boy. Just don't lose the heart I fell for."
He reads it… but doesn't reply.
Meanwhile, Isha watches him walk in from the office balcony—
her heart skipping a beat she doesn't understand yet.
