Chapter 53 - CHAPTER FIFTY FOUR

"Hey beautiful." A cheerful voice boomed at the other end of her phone, wiping her boredom with a smile. "Hi handsome." She replied after making sure her grandparents didn't follow her upstairs. "What's up?" Henry asked. "I'm good, just bored. How about you?" She replied and asked. "I'm sick." Came his short answer. "What? Where?" Ellen asked, alarmed. "Yes. I might need heart surgery. My heart is bursting out of its cage from missing you so much, that surgeons will have to reposition it again." Henry replied with a smirk. "Henry Kwabena Yawson do you want to give me an actual heart attack?! I would kill you if that wasn't so sweet. Cheesy, but sweet." Elena replied with annoyance and a blush. "Haha. It's the truth though sweetheart, I miss you so much so that I'm by your gate downhill." Henry announced. "What? How can you be there? Somebody might see you!" Ellen scolded. "Wow, maybe I am a bad influence on you, because I highly doubt your parents would be thinking their sweet little angel is scolding her boyfriend for surprise visiting her." Henry teased, enjoying the phone call. "Ha-ha, very funny. Stay there, I'm coming down. I just need to give an excuse to my grandparents first." Ellen replied sarcastically and told him to wait for her... "So, what fib did you give the poor old people, you little she devil?" Henry asked with interest and tease. He was in his car when he saw Ellen coming down in jeans and top with sneakers. He had to admit she really knew how to dress and also impress him with her figure. He got out to meet her and quiz, after giving her a loving kiss. "First of all, those old people are not poor. And secondly, I am not telling you, so you can taunt me with it." Ellen replied as she got into the car. Only she and God knew what she told them in order to leave. "Fine, don't tell me, but you didn't deny you are she devil." The annoying Henry said with a chuckle and Ellen glared at him, which made him laugh. "Drive." She said between clenched teeth. "Yes ma'am." Henry replied with a smirk and turned on the ignition, driving from the estate.

Henry drove to the Arcadia in Spintex, where they met Clara and Eric. "Elle!" Clara exclaimed, enveloping her in a hug. Eric and Henry did their handshake, before hugging the ladies. "How are you, Ellen?" Eric asked with a smile. "I'm fine please. You?" She replied and asked. "I'm great. You ready to have some fun?" He replied with a question again. "Yeah, I am. I've never been here before though." She admitted. "Jesus Ellen, have you been living under a rock even after getting rich?" Eric commented and Ellen felt embarrassed. "Lay off my lady, man. She doesn't go anywhere because we'll do it together. I'll be her personal chauffeur and tour guide till she knows all corners of the world, so back off." Henry jumped to her rescue, and she smiled. Clara just looked at them and went to the basketball area. "What would you like to play?" Henry asked Ellen when Eric joined Clara at the basketball area. "What do you recommend?" She asked instead. "We're doing what you want Eleanora, not what I want. So, take a good look at the place and choose." Henry answered with a smile. "Okay, um how about that? It looks fun." Ellen said, pointing to the bowling alley with a cheerful smile. "Great choice baby girl. Let's go." Henry applauded, leading the way after taking her hand in his. Clara and Eric on the other hand were having fun trying to score baskets. Henry had to teach Ellen how to bowl after her first attempt almost knocked his head off, when the ball swung in his direction. "My God, who on earth swings a ball that way? Do you want to destroy my beautiful head? Gimme the ball, I'll teach you how to bowl." He had complained and Ellen laughed amidst apologies. "Do you know you boast a lot?" Ellen asked in annoyance before handing him the ball. "I'm simply telling the truth sweetheart." Henry responded with a wink and rolled the ball, hitting all ten pins in a row. "Wow, that's cool." Ellen praised. "A regulation bowling game is played by rolling a ball down the lane toward ten pins. If a player fails to knock down all ten pins on their first throw, they may throw a second ball before ending their turn. Each player gets ten turns in a game, and each turn is called a frame." Henry explained carefully for her to understand. "How come you took the ball from me after one try then?" Ellen asked after understanding a player gets two tries to knock down the pins. "Because baby girl, you did not roll it, you swung it. That too, in the direction of my beautiful head." Henry answered and they laughed. He spent the next 30 minutes helping her to knock down pins and managed a high score of eight balls. Ellen was beside herself with joy when she finally knocked down more than two pins. "Good job sweetie, I'm proud of you." Henry complimented, giving her a high five and a hug.
