Chapter 60 - YOURS

JAY'S POV

We made our way inside the house. I immediately noticed that he had upgraded it after coming back from London. There was tighter security, brighter lighting, more space... and even more staff.

He led me upstairs and stopped in front of a large wooden door.

''This is his room..."

It was my first time entering Keifer's room. So, yes...I was excited. He opened the door, stepping aside to let me enter first.

As I walked inside, my eyes wandered around the spacious room. A massive king-sized bed sat in the center. A sleek study table was placed to the right, while a comfortable couch rested beside the large floor-to-ceiling window.

On the left side were two doors. One probably led to the bathroom.....and the other looked like a walk-in closet.

The entire room was decorated in warm shades of orange and brown, making it feel both elegant and cozy. I had to admit...I liked his room.

"Your room looks amazing."

"Thanks for the compliment," he replied with a grin. "But it's our room."

I slowly turned my head toward him. Of course...He was smirking. I simply sighed. Arguing with him was a complete waste of time.

Without warning, he pulled me into a tight hug. My face rested against his chest while his arms wrapped securely around me. And for some reason...I let him.

I couldn't even explain this feeling. But every time he hugged me...I felt relaxed. Like all my worries simply disappeared. After a few quiet moments, he spoke softly.

"Thank you, Jay Jay... for everything. This has been the best birthday of my life."

Warmth spread through my chest.

"You don't have to thank me, Keifer." I smiled. "I'm just happy you liked it."

He looked into my eyes.

"I didn't like it..." A small smile tugged at his lips. "...I loved it."

I couldn't help smiling back. After a while, we slowly pulled away from each other.

"Go take a shower," he said. "Wear something from my wardrobe. I'll use the guest bathroom."

"Okay."

He opened the other door. Just as I had guessed...It really was a walk-in closet.

He grabbed some clothes for himself, gave me one last smile, and quietly left the room.

KEIFER'S POV

Note to self...Build a wardrobe just for Jay.

After mentally reminding myself, I finished showering in the guest bathroom. A few minutes later, I walked back toward my room.

Before entering, I knocked on the door. Just to make sure she was already dressed.

"Come in."

I opened the door, stepped inside, and quietly locked it behind me.

The moment I looked up...My breathing completely stopped. I wasn't prepared for this. Jay Jay stood beside the nightstand...Wearing my oversized white shirt and a pair of loose shorts.

Everything was far too big for her. She looked like a tiny girl drowning inside giant clothes. I had already thought she looked breathtaking in that gown tonight.

But...No one could've prepared me for this.

She was absolutely killing me.

Beautiful.

Adorable.

Perfect.

Stunning.

There weren't enough words to describe what I was seeing. My throat suddenly went dry.

"What happened?" she asked, tilting her head. "Why are you staring at me like that?"

"Like what?"

She laughed.

"Like you've just discovered something new."

A smile slowly appeared on my face.

"Well..." I started walking toward her. "...I did."

I stopped only inches away from her. She looked up at me with that mischievous little smile.

"Then tell me." She raised an eyebrow. "What did you discover?"

I gently tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ear.

"That you look absolutely stunning in my clothes. I never thought one simple sight of you standing here in my shirt would be enough to completely ruin my ability to think."

She giggled.

"You're being dramatic. But I have to admit... your clothes are really comfortable."

I chuckled.

"You know what's even more comfortable?"

She looked back at me.

"What?"

Without answering immediately, I wrapped my arms around her waist and pulled her against my chest.

"You in my arms."

She rolled her eyes, unable to hide her smile.

"You're such a smooth talker, Keifer Watson."

I shrugged.

"I'm only stating facts."

We both laughed.

Then I carefully scooped her into my arms and carried her to the bed. I laid her down gently before lying beside her. My arm slipped around her waist as I pulled her closer. Then I buried my face against her neck. She burst into laughter from the ticklish feeling.

When I finally lifted my head, she looked at me.

"Did you open your gift yet?"

"Not yet."

"Then open it now."

"What's inside?"

She smiled.

"Find out yourself."

I laughed.

"Alright."

Stretching my arm toward the bedside table, I picked up the small velvet box she had given me earlier.

Slowly...I opened it.

Inside was a beautiful silver bracelet. At its center hung a tiny charm shaped like a little book. Across it, in elegant cursive letters, was written a single word.

"Yours."

Curious, I gently touched it. The charm opened. Inside...Was a tiny photograph. A candid picture of me. I was wearing a black suit with a genuine smile on my face.I stared at it for several long seconds.

Then it finally clicked. This picture...It had been taken during Jay Jay and Yuri's engagement party.

But...Who had taken it? And why had she kept it? I slowly looked at her. She smiled, already knowing exactly what I wanted to ask.

"I took that picture," she admitted softly. "After our confession on the rooftop."

She glanced down at the bracelet before looking back at me.

"It was the first genuine smile you gave that entire night. I wanted to capture that moment. I love this picture because... it reminds me of the night your love finally reached me."

Something tightened painfully inside my chest.

No one...No one had ever done something this thoughtful for me. Ever. She was the first. Words completely abandoned me. Before I even realized it...A single tear escaped my eye.

She noticed immediately. Without saying anything, she gently wiped it away with her thumb. That was enough.

My hand slid behind her neck as I pulled her toward me. Our lips met in a sudden, gentle kiss. She gasped softly in surprise...Then slowly kissed me back. She tasted like so sweet that I don't need dessert for my entire life. I can feast on her.

When we finally separated, I rested my forehead against hers.

"I love you so much..." I whispered. "I don't even have enough words to show you how much."

She smiled.

"I know."

Once our breathing settled, I picked up the bracelet and fastened it around my wrist. I admired it for a moment before looking at her again.

"I'll wear this forever."

I smiled proudly.

"You're incredibly thoughtful... wifey. 'Yours,' huh?"

She immediately pouted.

"Gago." She lightly smacked my arm. "Don't call me 'wifey.' I'm your girlfriend, okay?"

Instead of answering...I simply leaned forward and kissed her once more. This time more desperate. Because I can't help it she is fucking addicting. I push my tongue inside her mouth tasting her fully. As my hands were fisting her hairs and her were tangled in mine.

When we both got breathless. I finally pulled away. But with a wicked smirk on my face.

"Now that you've forgiven me and that we're officially together..." My smile grew wider. "The no-profanity rule is back, wifey."

She froze. Her eyes widened in realization. I couldn't stop laughing.

"You've been saying bad words all night. Now it's time to pay the price."

She immediately shook her head.

"No."

I smirked.

"Yes."

Before she could protest again...I kissed her.

I gently pushed her down and caged her with my arms as I hovered inches away from her. Then I dipped my head again and caught her lips again. I can't get enough of her. Ever.

My hands slipped inside the shirt as I squeeze her waist and then completely wrapping my arm around her. Then I trail the kisses below her neck, her collarbone ,her shoulders. I was basically devouring her right now.

I don't want to stop but still I did because I know its still too early for this.

Then I look again in her eyes and spoke softly

"Not now. We still have time."

She nodded with a soft smile.

And from that moment on...The rest of the night slipped away in shared laughter, lingering kisses, warm cuddles, and the quiet comfort of simply being together.
