[The Astravon Empire - The Azure Quarter]
The carriage finally came to a halt in the heart of the Astravon Empire. Nova stepped out onto the smooth, blue-stone streets, her eyes wide with wonder. Unlike the segregated nations of Lunareth or the Crimson Citadel, Astravon was a vibrant, chaotic tapestry of life. Beasts, demons, and angels walked side-by-side under a deep blue sky that hummed with dense, ancient spiritual energy.
"This is incredible," Nova whispered. She had suppressed her aura to that of a low-level spiritual being, wanting to experience the city without causing a panic.
Restless, she wandered into a nearby stone building while Kaelvyr attended to the carriage. Inside, the air was thick with the scent of smoke and heavy energy. A group of demons was huddled in the corner, surrounding a female beast who lay trembling on the floor, her fur matted with a dark, shimmering vital fluid and her spirit flickering.
"What are you doing here, little spirit?" a large demon sneered, stepping forward. He was the proprietor of the establishment, his energy crackling with a mid-rank intensity.
Nova didn't answer him. Her gaze was fixed on the injured girl. "Release that beast," she said, her voice calm but carrying a weight that made the room go silent.
The demon boss laughed, a harsh, grating sound. "I run this place. You have no right—none at all—to tell me what to do with my property."
Nova offered a small, dangerous smile. "Don't you know who I am?"
Ignoring the guards, she walked straight to the beast girl. She manifested her hand into solid physical matter, the blue-stone texture of her skin shimmering as she gently touched the girl's shoulder. "You're going to be okay," she whispered.
The guards looked to their boss, but the demon was frozen. He stared at Nova's hand—at the absolute control she had over her physical manifestation—and slowly signaled for his men to stand down. Nova untied the demonic-energy ropes and helped the girl to her feet.
As they reached the exit, Nova looked back over her shoulder at the demon boss. "You're pretty lucky," she said. "And smart. By the way... my name is Nova. The new Spiritual Origin."
The demon's face went pale as Nova stepped out into the light of the azure sky, where Kaelvyr was waiting with Astra. The baby made a funny, wide-eyed face at Nova, reaching out her tiny hands.
"What?" Nova asked, noticing Kaelvyr's amused expression. "You should have told me I was going into the wrong building."
"And you should have asked me where we were staying," Kaelvyr countered with a smirk. He gestured to the building on the opposite side of the street—a much more refined establishment. "This is our inn."

Nova followed Kaelvyr inside, carrying the injured beast girl. Kaelvyr spoke with the receptionist—an angel with shimmering wings—and secured a room. They climbed the stairs and entered their quarters, where Nova gently laid the girl on a soft bed of beast-hide.
"So, who is she?" Kaelvyr asked, looking tired as he rested his head on his hand.
Nova looked at the girl. "What's your name?"
"Zorielle," the girl whispered, her voice trembling.
"That is Zorielle," Nova told Kaelvyr.
Kaelvyr sighed. "You know what? I don't care. I'm going out with Astra for a bit. Good luck with your new friend." He picked up the baby and headed out the door.
Once they were alone, Nova turned her attention to Zorielle. "Thank you so much for helping me, Nova," the beast girl said.
"It's okay," Nova replied. She reached out and infused Zorielle with a steady stream of pure spiritual energy. The girl's wounds began to knit together instantly, her vitality returning in a surge of light. Zorielle stood up, staring at her healed body in shock. "Can I go somewhere real quick? There's something I need to do."
"Of course you can," Nova said.
Zorielle bowed deeply. "Thank you!" She then hurried out of the room.
Left alone, Nova manifested the physical body she had used in the Hollowroot Forest—blue hair, stone-like skin, and brilliant eyes. She sat on the edge of the bed and sighed. *Damn, I'm bored,* she thought. She looked at her hands, her eyes glowing with curiosity. *Let's see what else I can create...*

[Crimson Citadel]
Back at the Citadel, the air was thick with a different kind of tension. Elarion and Xyne sat in silence, the weight of Ryvex's dark suggestion hanging between them.
"Sometimes you have to make sacrifices to reach the peak," Xyne said, her voice cold and practical. "I've cleared many obstacles from my path to get where I am. I'm not surprised by what Ryvex told you."
Before Elarion could respond, the door burst open. Ryvex stumbled in, followed by a female demon who was playfully—but painfully—shoving him. She stopped when she saw Elarion, her eyes narrowing.
"Wait, Xyne," the newcomer laughed. "You're actually friends with a spiritual being? What a pathetic combination."
"Get out, Skye," Xyne snapped, her aura flaring.
"Calm down," Ryvex said, stepping between them. "Skye just came to say hello."
"Tell her to watch her tongue," Xyne muttered.
Ryvex turned to Elarion, his expression turning sharp. "So? Are you ready to do what's necessary?"
Elarion took a deep breath, his translucent form stabilizing. "Yes. I'm ready."
Suddenly, Elara burst into the room, dragging a bewildered Rhyzok behind her. "Boom!" she shouted, her face beaming. "Ryvex! Mama just spoke to me! Our little sister is joining us soon! I'm not going to be the youngest anymore!"
Ryvex's eyes widened. "What?! It's way too early!"
[The King's Domain - The Obsidian Hall]
The King sat at the head of a massive rectangular table, the shadows of the room lengthening as the spiritual energy in the sky pulsed. "They have arrived, my King," a servant whispered.
"I know," the King replied, his voice tight. "I can feel them."
The lights in the hall extinguished, replaced by a cold, oppressive darkness. A figure stepped into the room. His presence was magnificent, his aura so vast it seemed to swallow the air. He wore light, functional armor, with a long, brilliant blue sword sheathed at his hip.
The King felt a shiver of genuine fear. *This is why I hate summoning them,* he thought, glancing at his servant.
The figure took his seat beside the King, his eyes closed in a meditative state. When he finally opened them, the very stone of the building cracked under the pressure of his gaze. He sighed, suppressing his aura until the room stabilized.
One by one, the others followed. The second, the third... all the way to the tenth. Ten Harbingers, each with a distinct personality and a terrifying presence, sat around the table in a silence that felt like a physical weight.
The King looked over the assembly of his greatest weapons. "May the Harbinger Council commence," he declared, his voice dropping to a low, ominous register.
