Ray peeked through the peephole and saw it was Karl. He felt kinda relieved, opened the door, and told him to come in.
Ray looked confused and asked, "Yo, what the hell are you doing here?"
Karl grinned and joked, "C'mon bro, you're famous now, don't act brand new like that. Acting all stuck up."
Ray laughed. "Damn, you actually getting funny now."
Karl kept going, "Wild how shit's been lately though. You get hit with all this weird fame, go viral and shit, and still didn't expect to be cool with my cousin Kevin."
Ray raised an eyebrow. "I'm the one who didn't see that coming — Kevin being your cousin."
Karl laughed. "And I still can't believe you actually got him to go back home and listen to his parents. Dude was dead set on being a musician, stubborn as hell, hahaha…"
Ray chuckled, even though he knew damn well Kevin was just delusional and Ray never actually gave him any real advice.
Then out of nowhere, Karl hit him with, "Yo, let's go to the gym."
