"What do you mean by that?" Nina choked out, her hips twitching in sheer, desperate frustration as his fingers remained buried deep inside her, completely motionless.
"You heard me, princess." Lucas's dark blue eyes gleamed with ruthless amusement as he watched her face with the patience of a man who had all the time in the world. He seemed to be savoring this, drawing out every second as though her frustration were something to be tasted. "Who do you belong to?"
"I don't belong to you, Lucas!" Nina gasped, her chest heaving as she tried - and miserably failed - to wriggle free from his iron grip. "I don't belong to anyone!"
Lucas's smirk deepened, slow and insufferably cocky, as if her defiance only sweetened the moment for him. There was something almost reverent in the way he studied her, like a man who had waited a long time for exactly this kind of fight. "Wrong answer."
