the cursed spirit has razor sharp claws, it's teeth wide and sharp, eyes haunting but it's grin is most horrifying.

he had never seen a cursed spirit before.
his brain struggled to understand what stood in front of him.
this terrifying rush of dread.

the cursed spirit moved
In a sudden burst, it lunged for Kat.
with its gigantic claw.
kat: get it together bro.
He swung.

The bat slammed against the curse's lunge, barely parrying the grasp.
The impact rattled his arms.
if i didn't reinforce myself with cursed energy i would've died there-!
Kat quickly stepped back, creating distance.
No, I didn't come here unprepared.
Destroy the body with cursed energy.
A strong enough impact…
This bat should be enough.
The cursed spirit shrieked, the sound nearly deafening.
It lunges again, faster than before.
Startled kat, but with thoughts of his family's eviction,
He moved, with conviction.
with it's momentum, the cursed spirit swings out toward kat!
.. a faint memory..
"Remember, I shouldn't be repeating this but it's very important to know."
That every move is an opening!
Kat ducked under the cursed spirit's fast lunge, scraping beneath his eyes a bit, but no trouble.
Can't hesitate now, go in!
with every ounce of strength, kat kicked his feet strongly
running beneath the cursed spirit's arm, he bursts faster and faster.
Just one hit, one hit is all i need.
the cursed spirit retracts it's arm,
and swings his other hand at kat with immense force.
"Bug, filthy bug."
Kat perceives the action with it's movement,
He jumps out of the way in time
but the immense, crushing force the cursed spirit released,
broke the ashy grounds beneath kat's footing, completely destroying his stride.
kat: Fuck!!
kat struggling to regain his footing
the cursed spirit grins,
and lunges yet another quick, swift attack
with its terrifying claws.
kat: UGHHH!!
In an attempt of defense with bad footing,
kat swings his bat with every strength he has.
but this is not a weak cursed spirits in any means.
the creature understood kat's pattern in parrying it's first attack and assumed
he'll do it the same way, which kat did on a whim.
BLEURGH-..!!
blood gushing, splattering across the floor.
in the last second, the cursed spirit changed it's direction of attack
and hit a fatal piercing slash to kat's chest.
everything.. happened so fast..
what was i even thinking..? but.. i needed to do this.
it was all or..
or..
nothing.
the fight barely lasted 2 minutes.
I'm so happy.. happy.. hehehe..
