Mana Gate

The environment's saturation with mana is not without danger. Occasionally, the ambient mana density reaches a critical "tipping point" in localized areas, tearing the fabric of space and forming a Mana Gate. These ruptures act as connectors which connect high mana denisty area full of monsters to low mana density area of city. When a Gate appears in an urban center, it triggers a "Mana-Revolt," where the local environment and its inhabitants are subjected to chaotic energy fluctuations, necessitating immediate intervention by card-wielders to stabilize the area.

Mana Gate Level

S-Rank: National Level Threat. These are catastrophic ruptures that can destabilize the fabric of entire regions; they require the immediate mobilization of elite, high-stacking subjugation units.

A-Rank: High-Level Threat. These gates pose a severe, city-wide danger and require a coordinated response from multiple professional card-wielders to prevent widespread infrastructure collapse.

B-Rank: Significant Threat. These gates represent a serious risk, typically resulting in localized infrastructure damage that necessitates intervention by trained tactical squads.

C-Rank: Moderate Threat. These are regional hazards that can cause significant property damage if left unaddressed, usually handled by standard, mid-tier card-wielders.

D-Rank: Minor Threat. These gates are classified as local nuisances, often appearing in remote or isolated areas where they can be neutralized by a small team before they escalate.

E-Rank: Negligible Threat. The lowest tier of rupture, these are minor energy leaks that are often dealt with by a single, casual, or junior wielder during a daily commute.
