Lilac's POV
"Where am i?"
"How did i get here?"
I wondered feeling confused. I was at an unknown place, i looked beside me and saw Arisa asleep.
I tried recollecting my memory but it was blur. The last thing i remember was getting into the van with my siblings. I can't remember anything else.
I was scared so i tried to wake Arisa up.
"Just let me sleep a bit more." She said with closed eyes.
I let her sleep. I stood up from the ground where i was asleep. The place was dark, couldn't really see anything, but there was light coming from the door.
I walked towards the door to open it, but before i could grab the handle someone already opened the door from the outside.
I moved back quickly, i was afraid.
"Who are you?" I said with a shaky voice.
The person walked through the door without saying anything. I immediately ran towards Arisa to protect her. This made Arisa wake up.
The lights suddenly came on and it was a woman in a black gown. I was no longer scared, but still careful. I didn't move an inch.
"Who is that?" Arisa asked.
"I dont know." I replied.
The woman walked towards us and removed something from her ears.
"You both are finally awake." The woman said.
"I'm not here to hurt you. I use these to block the noise from the music when i want to take a nap." She explained .
I didn't say anything. I was just silent.
"I'm Rebecca. No need for introductions, i know your names already." She said.
I walked forward.
"How did we get here Miss Rebecca? I can't remember anything." I asked.
"Oh, you were drugged, so you won't know the road to this place." Rebecca said.
"Now i hope that answers all your questions. I assume you know why you're here already."
I looked at Arisa and she looked at me. Then we looked back at Miss Rebecca.
"No we don't." I said.
"You're here to become prostitutes. And I'm going to train you so you can make money for the boss. You should already know who that is." Rebecca said.
"Prostitutes? We weren't told anything about that. I want to go home." Arisa said.
"We can't possibly become prostitutes, we are just kids. We are leaving." I said.
I held onto Arisa's hand.
"Let's go." I said.
"I really don't think i gave you an option to leave." Rebecca said.
Two men suddenly came into the room and pointed a gun to our heads. Then separated me from Arisa and held us down.
Rebecca walked forward with a syringe and said, "All you have to do is behave like good girls and there would be no problem okay."
Rebecca walked towards Arisa first to inject her.
"Stay away from me! Don't come closer!" Arisa shouted as she began to cry.
"What are you doing to her? Leave her alone!" i cried out with tears.
Rebecca injected her and in a few seconds she was unconscious.
"No! What have you done to her you bitch!" I said angrily.
Rebecca walked towards me with a smile. Then slapped me hard. My lips started bleeding. I immediately poured my spit mixed mixed with blood on her.
"I always thought the older ones were smart. I guess i was wrong." Rebecca said as she injected me, then i fell unconscious.
I woke up again, but this time my sight was a bit blur. The last thing i remembered was Rebecca injecting me. I was in a room that has a bed this time.
Arisa and i were laid on the bed and tied with a rope on our hands and feet so we couldn't move. Arisa was still asleep as i struggled to escape from the rope.
The door opened and it was Rebecca.
"How did you enjoy your sleep, oh it seems like the other one is still asleep."she said
"Let me and my sister go!" I said.
She walked towards me and loosened the rope on my sister and i. I tried to wake Arisa up but she didn't budge.
"I gave her an extra dosage so she's not waking up anytime soon." Rebecca said with a grin.
Then i decided that i would carry Arisa on my back. As i attempted that, Rebecca brought out a gun and pointed it to my head.
"What's all this shit! I can't be taking care of kids. Why did the boss give me such a task. Ughh!"
"Look I'm done playing games, you will do as i say or you're dead. Seems like i have been acting too nice." Rebecca said
She walked over to where i stood and held my jaw tightly.
"You better start behaving. Or do you want to lose two sisters?" Rebecca said.
My eyes widened. I wondered how she knew about that. I was never the tough one, but i was trying to be. Arisa is actually tougher than i am.
"Who told you about my sister? Stay away from her!" I said.
"Stay away? Do you even know where she is? At least i do and i can kill her whenever i want. So behave." She said
"Fine, i will do as you say." I said looking all gloomy.
"Good!"
"Who knows, maybe in the future i will help you find her. But that's only if you behave good."
"Now! Clean yourself up and put on those clothes. Arisa will be awake in 30 minutes, tell her to do the same." Rebecca said then left the room.
I fell to the floor.
"No way, this can't be happening. I can't believe i'll become a prostitute" I murmured shakily then burst into tears.
I wanted to blame Ray for all this. If he hadn't just stolen from that gang we would have been fine.
But i couldn't blame him because what if we listened to him and left early like he told us to. Would we have been fine?
Regardless stealing was everyone's decision so we could be free. So I can't blame anyone.
Who knows, they might be having it worse than we are wherever they are.
