"Nessa, Nessa, wait for me. You can't leave me here just
because your sister will return today". Ruth, Vanessa's friend called out
as she realized Vanessa was leaving her in the grocery shop after the
news of her sister's return from the States. Vanessa went to the mall to
get Kim a gift and left to the Martinez mansion. It's been ten years since
she saw this house "A lot has changed here". Immediately, Ivy hugged
her from nowhere. "By the way, where is Kim?" she went inside and
exchanged pleasantries with everyone except her dad. "She is not here
yet" Ivy said. "Hmmm, so when will Kim be here?" she sat on the sofa
and closed her eyes. "Miss, what should I get you?" "Get me a glass of
champagne". She jumped into Kim's arms the moment she opened her
eyes. "Sis, I have missed you!", Vanessa exclaimed. Everyone just stood
laughing at her.
They all sat to have lunch, when Joshua cleared his throat and
said "Nessa, can you meet me in my study after lunch?" she just
nodded and concentrated on her food. Joshua left shortly after his meal
and Nessa followed him. "I hope this people will settle their differences
so Nessa will return home", Adele said and everyone just nodded.
"Nessa, why don't you come home?" Joshua said as she sat across
him. She just looked at him without a word so he continued. "You left
home because I sent your seventeen years old sister abroad, but she's
back now so come home". "Okay dad, I will think about it", Vanessa
said. She then left to bid her sisters goodbye. They persuaded her to
sleepover which she did after an emotional blackmail.
At night, Kim was about to sleep after a hectic day, when a knock
came at her door. She opened it only for Vanessa and Ivy to barge into
the room. Kim: "What are you guys doing here? Ivy, I thought you had a
shoot scheduled for tomorrow and you also said you'll checkup things
in the club tomorrow so why are you here?" they pretended not to
have heard her and Ivy giggled and said "Cousin, don't you think you
made a mistake? We are ladies but you refer to us as guys". Vanessa
joined Ivy in teasing her but Kim rolled her eyes at them.
"Goodness Lord, I should have stayed in the States. At least I
had my peace of mind there. The two girls who were in the process of
throwing pillows at each other stopped abruptly and got down from her
bed". Ivy: "You almost gave me a heart attack, cousin!" she exclaimed
with a hand on her chest. Vanessa: "Ivy, I think we should leave. She
didn't miss us in those ten years". Vanessa stood up to leave, when Kim
held her hand. Kim: "Can't I joke with my younger sisters anymore?".
Vanessa laughed and muttered "You aren't the only joker here". Ivy:
"She really got you this time cousin". Kim sat on the bed sulking.
Vanessa tickled her which broke her resolve. They laughed, hugged and slept together.
