Mavis was very much aware of the marriage arrangement that her
parent and the Martinez family were having downstairs but she was
dressed for her favorite club 'SUNSET'. Her mom urged her to greet the
visitors which she did by saying 'Hi' and throwing a kiss at them. Mrs.
Martinez was disappointed and showed her displeasure. "This is not
who we want for our son" she said when Leo said "But I like her". Both
families sealed the alignment with a hug.
Mavis was drowsy after taking so many glasses of alcohol when a guy
approached her. He was talking to her and she noticed how he looked
at her lustfully. He tried touching her and she slapped him hard on his
face. This caused a commotion and the guy's girlfriend pushed her so
she fell on a man in suits. He just muttered 'Shameless lady' and left.
She didn't want her parents to see her in the drowsy state so drove to a
hotel to spend the night. She was going to her room when she saw the
same man was in the elevator with her. "You don't me so don't ever
judge me" she said while pointing at him. She loosed her balance and
was falling, when he caught her and she fell asleep. He took her to his
room.
Josh, his P.A called to inform him that his dad said he should call him
immediately which he did. "Hello Dad" "Your brother is getting married
and I want you to do all the arrangement. He might not be a Martinez
but he is doing it for the company. The girl is from the Ramirez family".
He then ended the call.
"Sis, and what happened next? It sounds like a story I read online"
Vanessa said when Kim suddenly stopped. "Nessa let's continue some
other time okay" she replied looking at her phone. "And where are the
cooks" she asked concerning to Ivy and Ruth. "We were so engrossed
that we forgot about them" Vanessa muttered. She went inside to pull
Ivy out. "Please Cous, let's stay a little longer. I'm not done telling Ruth
how I dumped my boyfriend of two weeks " "Did you say you dumped
Teddy? But why?" Vanessa asked." Let's just say he was the 'not all
glitters is gold' in my life. But I have a new crush called Sean who joined
us three days ago" she said. "When did you break up with Teddy?"
Vanessa asked with a smirk. "Just yesterday" she answered
enthusiastically. "I feel sorry for Sean" Vanessa muttered under her
breathe. "Did you say something?" Ivy asked and she shook her head negatively. Kim chuckled and Ruth stood laughing.
