The family left home to shop for the wedding but left Kim behind with
Leo's order that he wants to go shopping with her. Vanessa objected to
it so Mavis gave her a chance to tag Ruth along which she gladly did. At
the mall, the men went their separate ways while the older women
followed. With the ladies left alone, ivy began to tell them about how
she has succeeded in making Sean her boyfriend. Vanessa wasn't
interested so walked ahead, but Ruth listened with rapt attention.
"Sister, what do you think about this necklace and the dress I chose?"
Savvy asked Adele as they were choosing jewelries. Adele who looked
not so interested just nodded with a smile. "Savannah, this necklace is
too lavish. You can't look beautiful than the bride's mom". Mavis said
smiling at Adele but she just looked away. Savvy acted as if she was
oblivious of the tension between them and continued with what she
was doing.
After selecting their dresses, the ladies were checking out their shoes,
when Ivy had an incoming call from Sean. She gave off a beaming smile
which made Vanessa roll ger eyes at her, while Ruth just chuckled. After
minutes of being on the phone, she finally ended it with a kiss. She then
realized how Vanessa gave her a gross look.
"What! Why are you looking at me like I have 'poo' in my pants. It not
my fault that you don't have a boyfriend at this age. Besides with how
you behave, this tomboy and superwoman nature has made you had to
approach" she exclaimed. Vanessa just ignored her and continued to
walk ahead.
Elsewhere, the men were still contemplating on the color of tuxedo to
choose. "Bro, don't you think I should call our wives? Savvy knows what
suits me best" Kevin asked the umpteenth time but Joshua still refused.
Having no choice, he decided to call his wife only. "Hello Savvy, can you
please come to the men's boutique at the far end of the mall? I need
your help urgently". He was about to end the call, when Joshua
screamed "Come along with Adele". After the call, Kevin looked at him with a teasing smile which made him blush.
