#Chapter30
Hirkan was dragged away by Zahid’s knights.
They had to fix him up to look less beaten up before the meeting with the Niaakalite generals.
Right now, he was so beaten up and bloody that we couldn’t dare do anything with him.
Zahid stayed behind, right by my side.
Besides, there was no way Hirkan would run away now.
As long as I was to be here, Hirkan isn’t going anywhere.
It was a natural instinct of wizards for them to long to be in close proximity with the Purifier – especially for wizards that are on the verge of delirium.
I let out a quiet sigh.
I finally got a chance to talk to Hirkan again, but I didn’t get to ask any of the questions I had.
It felt like I had created a handful of problems instead of making any progress.
To be honest, my confidence was on the floor already.
Even if I was to get another chance to speak with him, I wasn’t sure if a conversation would even be a viable option.
