After Lady Kayla left the castle, I had to listen to the desperate pleas of regret of the servants.
It seemed like Dymon had rebuked them pretty harshly.
Dymon was a revered figure among the servants of the castle.
Not only did he serve the Carnoires for two generations, but he also aided the revival of the Carnoire house by Zahid’s side.
Hence, his words had a tremendous effect on them.
Of course, they were punished elsewise like a cut in pay, but none of them were fired.
It really wouldn’t make a difference if we replaced the entire batch of servants.
It was better to just stick with the experienced staff we have right now.

When I told Zahid that I was going to attend the meeting, he only said one thing.
