Ronya returned from the job she had been dispatched to.
“Congratulations on your successful return, Commander.”
“Yes, right. Have you been looking after the house?”
Ronya responded to Jantzen’s courteous greeting as she flung her coat off to the side.
Jantzen’s habitually caught her coat in mid-air and hung it up neatly. She groaned as she slumped down on the couch, her spread arms and legs gave the illusion that was laying down on it.
“I think Zahid is going to be the death of me.”
She had been losing her mind recently because she had been pushing ahead with work. On top of that, the amount of time they had left decreased even more, meaning they were all running around like headless chickens. Ronya had thought there was no way she would make it to the Winter Hunt, but she had no choice but to come back in time.
