The Duke of Carnoire was taken to the amphitheater, which had been designated as the execution site. The Emperor and Empress made their way over to watch the event and while Diana was the driving force behind getting Zahid there, she remained at the Imperial Palace, unwilling to witness such a brutal scene.
Despite being eager to go, Hession was ordered to stay at the palace as well by Lexphius. Carnoire had a lot of supporters and if Hession were to show up at the event, it would only make the Prince look bad, so he was forced to stay home and save face.
Besides them, almost everyone attended the execution. All of the nobles who were able to take the day off had left, leaving the palace became fairly empty.
