To Ronya, things like the name of the order were just trivial matters, all that was important to her was sticking beside Zahid. That was until they had successfully completed their rebellion with Zahid sitting on the throne as he gave them a new name.
“Never again shall you be referred to as nameless people.”
Ronya felt her body shudder upon hearing those words. The man speaking was the person she had chosen to devote her life to. She was not wrong to have made that decision, and the name he created only filled her with a stronger sense of loyalty.
Zahid had given them the name, the ‘Order of Arlez,’ after the thing he treasured and adored the most. The Arlez Knights were promoted to the level of Emperor Zahid’s Imperial Guards and the title of captain was bestowed upon Ronya.
“Why didn’t you just call us the Order of Aerta?”
She asked him accusatively.
“I can’t give that title to just anyone, I’m afraid.”
He answered with a laugh as if he had enjoyed her joke.
