I was left in a momentary state of confusion.
I wondered how on earth he had obtained my blood and why he hadn’t drunk it yet. If he drank it, he would never have to suffer from malignity again, which meant that even though the remedy to all of his suffering was right in front of his eyes, he had left it as it was.
It was a stupid thing to do.
‘Why would someone as smart as Zahid do something so foolish?’
Before I asked the questions that were roaming my mind, I pointed something out to him in a brutal manner.
“Your wife? Do you still think that I’m just one of your possessions?”
“We haven’t officially gone through the divorce process yet, so, legally, I’m still your husband. If you haven’t wed somebody new, that is,” Zahid replied to my question seriously.
“…”
I glared at him.
Our relationship was finished and I hated how he had the nerve to call me his wife. The whole continent knew that we were over, but he was the only one who couldn’t accept it.
