Title : The 9th Gate
Summary : Instead of learning the Shadow Clones, Naruto goes for something cooler : The 8 Inner Gates. Kurama, seeing an opportunity, interferes with his Chakra and ready to get out only to get his Chakra stolen. Watch as a tug of war between host and Bijuu starts. Weak to OP!Naruto.
Note : Naruto is 15 whilst the rest of Konoha 9 are still 13 years old because he canonically failed the graduation tests 2 times. That means anyone but him stays the same age.
Note 2 : To balance out the fic, Naruto will not learn the Shadow Clones Jutsu until much later, and even if he did, I'm still battling with the idea of changing the 'training' with clones aspect so that he just doesn't become OP in a day or something. Let me know what you think.

Chapter 1 : Clones sucks, let me learn something better instead
Abandoned Clearing – Naruto
"Shadow Clones Jutsu ? Ohhhh, I don't want to learn that crap" Naruto said with a whine as he skimmed through all the Jutsus inside the scroll.
He passed some of them, peculiarly one about some reincarnation crap that seemed way too dark for his taste before his eyes settled on one in specific.
The 8 Inner Gates.
He smiled wildly "Now that is a good technique" he said as he started to read more about the technique.
As he delved into it, he couldn't understand much except that – if he somehow opened those 'gates', he'd gain immense power !
"Just what I needed !" He shouted – completely fired up as he read on how to open them.
The goal was to open them in one trait, like ripping off a band-aid that was wrapped around his body and lash out with all his might.
He read the instructions for the first gate :
The Gate of Opening (開門, Kaimon), located in the brain's left hemisphere, removes the user's mental inhibitions. Opening this gate allows the user to perform the Front Lotus (see below instruction), a technique that tires them afterwards
He never read the rest of the instructions, something about being physically strong enough – he was the strongest after all ! and as he heard a distant shout of annoyance, he closed his eyes, letting his chakra slowly approach his head as he tried to locate the said brain's left hemisphere.
He didn't know what that 'hemisphere' crap was, but he knew the definition of brain and left so he'll have to work with that.
As he stayed with his eyes closed, he tried to find the said gate as his chakra slowly sipped into the left of his brain.
As he did so, another being with vile intention smiled as He helped him redirect his Chakra to the exact place.
"Yosh ! Found it Dattebayo !" He shouted with his eyes still closed, and before he could about it in depth, he pushed a huge chunk of his chakra into the gate with all his might at is it filled him open.
Suddenly, his eyes opened in pure agony, a foreign red and corrosive chakra invaded the gate and started to eat away at his as they battled for the place and a silent scream escaped his lips.
He looked down as he felt something painful invading his chest.
A strange whirlpool with 8 strange spikes all written in a strange language and some ink appeared on his stomach.
One of the spikes, the top left one, blinked in light and black, flickering between the two as he saw a strange light carving the middle of his chest as if cutting his body in half clean.
He felt on the ground unconscious before he could stop it.

Same time – Naruto's landscape, Kyuubi
Kyuubi or Kurama was a creature made of pure Chakra and hatred.
It was the strongest of them all, using it might to crush the village, and bla bla bla.
She wasn't just some creature made of pure Chakra, she was a 'she' thank you very much.
She had organs, just like humans, and an attitude – just like them.
When she got possessed by Madara Uchiha, she'd been pissed by the guys balls to do that but she respected the man because of his strength. Plus killing a few humans had been fun.
After that, that Tree hugging strong bastard Hashirama and his psychotic wife Mito had sealed her inside his wife like a true badass. She hated them with all her guts, truly, but at least she respected them too.
Then came Kushina. At first, she dismissed her, she was just a child after all. And as she grew stronger and even caged her to the point of forcing her to be caged to a freaking boulder for the entirety of her lifetime just because she insulted her hair. That commanded respect.
But when the Masked Man liberated her and forced her to go on a rampage, she promised to herself that she'd kill that motherfucker later even though she wasn't against killing Shinobis and Civilians alike nor was she against destroying the village so she let him be for now and took advantage of the situation.
She could still feel the tender flesh of Kushina and Minato Namikaze on her claw as she pierced their chests when they tried to protect their kid. Even then, as enemies, she respected those stubborn bastards.
And now, as that dumbass kid – failed the Academy Graduation 2 times for god's sake, even his mother had aced it with Kyuubi inside her too, somehow found his way around the Hokage Tower and stole that Forbidden Scroll only to try the only technique that could help her escape, she didn't hesitate.
Fuck that kid and fuck those humans. He was brash, loud, useless and a huge idiot. She didn't respected him and even if she did, it wasn't enough to stop her from trying to escape that damned cage.
She'll kill the boy by sipping her Chakra in him whilst he foolishly tried to open that 1st Gate, flooding said Gate with her own corrosive Chakra and blow him up before he could even react.
And as he tried to find said Gate with his Chakra – the dumbass was trying to open such Gate with no proper physical conditioning, because yes she read through his eyes the instructions unlike that dumb kid, and no knowledge on the human anatomy – even a 7 year old can understand what left 'hemisphere' meant.
He just straight up ignored said instructions and started dabbling with one of the most dangerous Jutsu on earth. Some would say she was just getting rid of one more idiot from this earth.
That's why she didn't feel any remorse when she sipped her Chakra into his gate with a sneering smile. Well, it was also because she loved killing people but no matter.
"There there" She cooed mockingly as she helped him redirect his Chakra properly into his Gate because he wasn't smart enough to find it himself.
Then she heard someone rushing toward his blonde idiot while screaming and she knew time was running out so she tried to accelerate the process.
It clicked, something shifting in the brat's body as she hurryingly added her Chakra into the gate. She could see the Gate being equally flooded in Naruto Blue Chakra and her Red one.
At first, nothing happened, as both took 50% of the ground inside the gate, it seemed as if a truce had been made.
But then, out of nowhere, she powered more of her potent and corrosive Chakra as it started to eat away at the Blue Chakra who tried to fight back.
She looked with satisfaction as one of the 8 Trigram Seal spikes started to glow and then go back to normal, flickering between the two as a red toxic Chakra started to wrap around the poor kid like a cloak and he started to scream in agony as a Chakra tail formed behind his back.
Before the blue haired man, who appeared out of nowhere, could intervene, Kurama took this moment to force Naruto to swing at the man's body with his hand mixed with her Chakra as the Chakra hand exploded forward in a shower of speed and had pushed the Chunin backward as he smashed through multiple trees like a ragdoll before he laid out dead.
She briefly registered the guy as 'Mizuki-sensei' from Naruto's memories as the man's chest was carved in and on itself and poisoned with her Chakra. He was dead, confirmed. It was only a taste of her terrifying power but she could feel the panic of her host increase as she cackled.
As she looked at the Gate being flooded by 99% from her Chakra with glee, she was preparing herself mentally to finally step outside her cage as she saw the cut made of light that appeared on the kid's body.
But then, suddenly, the cut disappeared as a small but vivid scar in a 'X' form carved itself on his body.
She screamed in frustration. Just when her Chakra had flooded the Gate fully, Naruto's had suddenly surged inside and slowly absorbed hers as the poor kid screamed in pain.
Slowly but surely, the blue and red energies mixed. The red cloak of her one tailed beast mode that was around him slowly evaporated with a show of smoke as he panted in effort.
Slowly but surely, the blue and red became violet, and before she could stop it, she felt one of her tails of vanish. Somehow, Naruto's body had stolen it.
She looked with perplex admiration and curiosity as a faint yellow aura surrounded the 15-year-old brat as an almost invisible yellow tail swinged happily left and right.
"Did this brat just steal my Chakra and purified it ?" She asked indignantly and, technically, she just gave it up to him by mistake, but she'd never admit it to anyone who'd ask.
"I'm gonna kill him" She promised with a threatening and dangerous smile as her red hair swirled around her violently "I'm so gonna kill him. I'm gonna rip him apart, and recompose him, then rip him apart again" As she looked at a dumbfounded Naruto looking at his own glowing hands,she looked at the 1st Gate now brimmed with a strange gold liquid replacing the earlier purple one "I am so gonna kill that MOTHERFU –"

"What the hell is that Dattebayo?" wondered Naruto aloud as he looked at the strange yellow aura that was covering him.
The strange cut of light had disappeared, replaced with a deep 'X' cut carved in his body which hurt like HELL, but at least he was alive.
And as he looked down, his abdomen still sported that strange symbol on him. The only difference was that spike that flickered between black and light was now lightened without any sign of changing.
To be honest, he was extremely tired and not smart enough to understand what that meant so he just shrugged it off for now.
As he looked up, he saw the sign of trees that exploded in pieces, his mind slowly remembering what just transpired whilst he was in a sort of trance.
He sprinted toward the body of his teacher, rushing to its emplacement as he suddenly sped up, faster than he ever did before, as if teleporting from his own vision and had to force himself to stop as he staggered backward in a lack of balance.
"What the hell" He looked at his body again, still coated with that strange yellow aura and behind him was a yellow chakra tail that swung around like he was a happy puppy enjoying the light exercise.
As he looked down, his mind churned at what was remaining of the corpse of his teacher Mizuki.
His chest had been carved to a paste, his face etched in horror as the last thing that he saw was the red tail that exploded from him.
The same red tail that was now absent, replaced with the joyful yellow one.
"What the hell ?" He said with disgust as he turned away from the sight of the slowly decomposing body, maintaining himself with a hand on the nearest tree as he double over and started vomiting.
As he vomited, he was interrupted by a voice he instantly recognized "NARUTOOO !" It was Iruka-sensei.
"Shit shit shit" He cursed himself as he doubled over and vomited again.
Just as he turned around to face his teacher that appeared out of nowhere, he was suddenly encircled by a group of 5 ANBUS with their expressionless masks and their black coats hiding their body from everyone.
"Naruto Uzumaki" One of them solemnly declared as he stepped forward "You have been summoned by the Hokage"
He was so freaking screwed. He lifted his hand in surrender as his strange yellow aura followed his movement. His tail made of chakra somehow stood to attention too "I've done nothing I promised"
That's what most culprit said, isn't it ?
