Haruto Amanai strode onto the stage, cameras flashing. Born in poverty, he had turned necessity into genius, building solar-powered vehicles and mobile building limbs. Today, he revealed his newest creation.
"Today, I present to you my latest prototype: Flash Boots."
The crowd held its breath.
"Flash Boots are shoes that propel your body safely, handling your weight during acceleration. Move faster than ever—and safely," he said, voice steady, eyes blazing with innovation.
The crowd uttering from a distance
"Will it really work?"
"This is groundbreaking"
"I believe he will succeed"
"This would make our company rich if it goes on mass production "
The scene shifted to a glittering auditorium.
"We are here today to acknowledge a groundbreaking achievement through discovery , which would aid humanity's future"
"This award goes to a genius scientist who proposed the theory of time dilation and relativity. She has won Nobel Prizes in agriculture, medicine, chemistry, and quantum physics. Please welcome… Dr. Kurokawa Kazumi!"
Kazumi stepped forward, calm, composed—a mind of discovery and leadership. Applause washed over her, but her eyes already saw the next impossible breakthrough.
Elsewhere, a dim war room hummed with tension. Kenji Miyamoto traced lines across a battlefield map.
"Let's discuss the procedure on this strategy meeting. Make sure everyone follows and the plan is clear," he said.
"Commander Miyamoto," a vice captain objected, "isn't the plan too complicated? One mistake, and it could be disastrous. Shouldn't we just face them head-on?"
Kenji's gaze cut sharp. "Your approach could win, yes. But at what cost?We would lose soldiers,Weapons ,and morale.My plan ensures victory while minimizing casualties. Ambitious—but follow it, and I guarantee success."
"Roger that, Commander Miyamoto. All units, prepare for the operation! Move!"
The roar of the crowd shifted the scene to a packed arena. Rintaro Shin moved like lightning, dominating his opponent.
"And again! Rintaro Shin becomes the champion of this tournament!"
"With this win, he is officially champion of all martial arts, swordsmanship, and marksmanship!" the announcer shouted. "He's humanity's peak!"
Shin took the microphone and announced
" With this win I had fought every battle,I conquered each won of them . From this day on I won't be participating any tournaments"
Shin then drops the mic and leaves the arena
Crowd was shocked in chaos
"D-Did I hear that right?"
" He is retiring?"
" Noo ---he was my favourite"
" Maybe he has a reason"
The scene then shifted
In a dark investigation room, Jin Kazuto analyzing a timeline board , connecting recent events and studied old photos of disappearances from ten years ago. Faint circular shadows hinted at something unnatural.
"This case… ten years, still unsolved," he muttered. "But I know where they vanished. I need to get to the bottom of this."
Stepping outside, coffee in hand, his gaze fell upon the floor. A glowing summoning circle shining so bright pulsed below, bridging worlds.
Jin said to himself
"T-This light! Is this an unknown technology ? Is it a threat? It's my first time I'm seeing this "
Jin set his eyes around the circle,his eyes lit up in realization
" Wait, the circle formation is similar to what happened 10 years ago. It's so bright...I-It's blinding me"
Jin's final moments, covering his eyes while the light devoured him and dissapeared
The scene shifted back to the press conference
Haruto gazes on his feet when suddenly a bright circle of light appeared before him
"W-What is this bright light? Is it a new technology? How come I never heard of this. "
Haruto was devoured by the light, his body vanished only his flash boots remained,leaving the audience in dissonance
"W-What just happened?! "
"What was that light"
"Was it haruto's new creation it appeared out of nowhere"
Inside the awarding ceremony
Kazumi gazes in awe from the light that appeared from nowhere
" What is this light particle shining so bright"
"I definitely need to get this to my lab in order to study behind this phenomena" she said to herself
But before she could act she already dissapeared leaving the crowd shocked from witnessing it.
"D-Did Dr.Kazumi just dissapeared! "
"Everyone please calm down we will look for Dr. Kazumi" The host said in a panic manner.
The scene shifts into Kenji Miyamoto , focused , calm , while analyzing the battlefield of the operation inside the commander room .
Suddenly the vice captain reported to Kenji on a radio with a panicking voice …
"Bad news commander Miyamoto the enemy has surrounded our main force and are on a pincer position by the enemy we need back up "
Kenji said calmly
" Roger, just hold on I will inform the back up to help you over "
Kenji thought to himself confidently
"Good… it's all going according to what I expected."
Kenji stood, leaving the war room to inform backup. The hallway stretched ahead, dimly lit and quiet. Suddenly, a blinding white light erupted out of nowhere, forcing him to shield his eyes. His heart raced.
"What is this…?"
he muttered, voice tight with tension.
"An enemy ambush? No… they couldn't have infiltrated the base."
Desperation crept into his tone. "I didn't expect this. I need to inform backup immedia-!"
Before he could act, the light swallowed him. His radio slipped from his hand, clattering to the floor, powerless witnesses to his disappearance.
The vice captain grabbed another radio, anxiety spilling into his voice.
"Commander Miyamoto! The enemies are closing in fast! We can't hold them for long… we need backup! Hello, Commander… are you th-... "
Static crackled. The communication cut off.
Meanwhile, in a packed arena, the audience was still reeling from the shocking announcement: the legendary Shin Rintaro was retiring. Murmurs of disbelief and awe filled the stands.
The scene shifted to Shin himself, walking alone through a dark hallway toward the exit. Silence surrounded him—until a sudden circle of white light appeared before him.

"What is this? I have to escape this!"
