That experience had changed the way Sienna viewed them. She no longer considered Jenny someone she needed to forgive or understand.
As far as she was concerned, Jenny had made her choice, and she had made hers. But Maya was different. Sienna still cared about her aunt, and that was the problem.
Sienna's expression became serious as she stared at the laptop in front of her.
She couldn't risk Maya's safety just because she wanted to cut Jenny out of her life. If Jenny had really done something to Maya, she needed to know what it was.
"All right," Sienna finally said, her voice still controlled. "Tell me what you want."
Sienna waited, her fingers resting against the edge of the desk. She didn't trust Jenny, and she certainly didn't believe that whatever Jenny wanted to discuss was as innocent as she was making it sound.
